As you know, you can make BakuTraps as a Mechtogan, but what if we had some special rules for mechtogan? These are my suggestions:
1) Mechtogan have 2 Ability cards (Any 2 as long as they correspond with the correct mechtogan, unless they have a special ability giving them leverage on that)
2) Mechtogan Ability Cards that counter do not count towards your Counter count, but only 1 Mechtogan Counter ability card can be played. If the other ability card of a Mechtogan has a counter effect, the counter effect is ignored.
3) Mechtogan can either be thrown in as a regular bakutrap, or, if you are like me with a double up strategy, can be summoned using the "Mechtogan Summon" ability (which I have made).
4) Mechtogan cannot be captured. They only work alongside the brawlers who created them.
5) Mechtogan have 1 specific Bakugan partner, unless stated otherwise.
Other than these 5 rules, Mechtogan are played as normal BakuTraps.

This would actually be overpowered. As stated in rule 1, their abilities would count towards the ability count, so it is natural that they should count to the limited rules. Which brings me to rule 2. Only their effects shouldn't count just like regular traps.

I see your point. I am sticking by my idea until the very end, but I do see your point.
EDIT: I should've been more specific when I was typing this.

Sorry, but since Mechtogans are considered as BakuTraps, they will have to be the same rules as BakuTraps.
