I have been looking at my cards I have posted and started wondering, what's the difference between RP and Battling? I honestly can't get the difference (most likely due to this one fact about me...) Through some looking back into my RPing past, RP is where you act out what's going on and such, maybe in some detail. I now see that I tend to do my brawling entries like that now looking over the entries...
If someone could please tell me the difference, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

We need to do some things first before we discuss the differences between those two. Hopefully that's okay with you. Now... The first thing we're going to do is start reading some rules. You'll notice that the battle rules explain to the reader on how to brawl. I won't go into detail about that since what I would say is what is already said there. I'll let you read that. The next thing we're going to do is to look at what we're creating before we make anything. Did you ever notice the thread that is stickied? You know...like the card creation rules? These govern what can be on cards. Again, I will not tell you what's in there. I want you to read it. After we read our rules, now we're going to discern the difference between roleplaying and brawling. You already know the definition of roleplaying. Brawling is when you battle other people by the rules you see on the first link I provided. These type of things can be solved by making sure you read every rule first before you do anything else. This will minimize the confusion later. Hope that helps.

I have read the Card Creation Rules and the Battle Rules over again at least 3 times now and I somewhat get this difference in ways. Well, I'm still kinda confused, but it cleared up a bit... But then again what I'm talking about now is what I semi-knew already.
RPing is what I said in the beginning and then brawling is basically kinda... Just stating what action you're doing in the battle. (I think...) But then there's a bit of a mix between the two like in the Official Roleplay for Bakugan World Championship. (I guess that would be a mix in ways, right?)
>Sigh
I think it's because of myself that I can't really understand it. I know I still have much to learn for I've only been here for a week and... I just don't know...

What you said at the bottom was against Proboards Terms of Service, so I modded it out. We'll pretend that was never said. A better way you could understand the difference is to look at examples of the two. You can see that in the ongoing plot and the things that you are doing are good examples of roleplaying. These list of battles are roleplaying battles that focus on acting out on what's going on like you said instead of taking G-Power and effects into it. On the other hand, an example of an actual brawl can be this battle. As you can see, the G-Power of the Bakugan is being taken into account and then they are using effects from support weapons and card effects to gain the advantage against their opponent. For someone like you who seems to enjoy roleplaying, you also have the right to do both in an actual brawl as long as you are playing by the rules. Review a couple of battles, think it over, and if you still don't understand, we'll walk you through a step by step process that should be able to clarify a lot of things that you may not understand.

I think I'm getting it a bit better now.
But the question that keeps coming back to me every time I think about this is the cards that I have. When my cards are approved for RP only, does this mean I can use them for all my battles?

If the cards were approved for use in roleplaying only, then you may not use them in actual brawls. You must create cards with effects that'll apply to them. You are free to use your cards in battles that are intended for roleplaying only.

Okay, I think I got just about everything (So to avoid confusion within myself, I'll just stay away from the cards that are approved for RP...)
Thanks! ^^
