Episode 16: Ignited Power

[Makoto Nakashima]

"Time for entertainment. Ability activate! Balance Trap!" Makoto announced as he activated a powerful ability. Asmodeus screeched and created a wall of unknown force which binded both Drago and Gorem making their powers drastically fall and transfer into jaws of Asmodeus.
When it had enough power Makoto activated another ability.
"Special Ability, activate! Demon Vortex!"
A wave of energy formed a vortex in the middle of the battlefield. A few seconds after that a horde of wild Bakugans emerged from the vortex, just as with Belphenoid's ability.
Now, Dragonoid and Gorem were trapped in the forcefield and their energy was almost out.

[Akane Huomoto]

"Tch, so you managed to take Torahu out, eh?" Akane says, picking up her bakugan and stroking the blue colored bakugan. "Well you two," she says, glancing at Makoto and Daniel, "You'll be having some backup... Torahu isn't really up for any battling at the moment," Akane says as Abbadon walks up beside her. She looks at the demonic bakugan before turning her attention back to the brawl. "You can do as you wish for now. I really have no plans for you at the moment," Akane sighs as Abaddon nods and walks off into the brawl, trying to find something to help out with to ensure the fall of the two resistors, as Akane was going to her thoughts to find something Abbadon could do. She did feel a bit guilty she sent him off like that... "What to do what to do?" She murmurs as her her right hand rummage through her bag.

[Allen Silva]

" don't know when to quit do you guys?" Allen asked after once again seeing the Pack enter the brawl. Quickly though, the subterra brawler found himself in a barrage of abilities, backing him into a corner. Gorem was darkus, had most of his energy sapped, and a horde of bakugan were on thier way to pummel Drago and Gorem into pulp. He had to throw 100% out now or risk losing the brawl. That wasnt a option anymore. Allen searched through his arsenal of cards, pulled one and activated it." Ability activate, Landslide shield."

Gorem first utilized the growing energy in his body to dispel Sakura's ability, giving him back his subterra atribute. He then created the energy shield and repeatedly bashed it into his confinement, breaking it." One down, one to go." Gorem commented, relaying thier situation as though nobody understood it. He lost any sort of care freeness he had, and the toll of the brawl was evident. He might have been spunky a moment ago, but in mere seconds his body was sluggish and felt ten times heavier. Gorem tried his best to hurry, which at this point was a quick walk, trying to reach Drago. He bashed the shield into the dragon's confinement, breaking it too. Right after completing that task, the shield disappeared. Gorem turned his head, gazing at the swarm headed thier way." That's not going to be enough Allen."

Allen had to agree. The Landslide shield barely held out enough to break free of the physical constraints. The mental ones still hung in the air, weighing on Allen's decisions. He pulled out one card he wished he could keep out of this brawl." We got to win, so now we use out trump card. Signature ability activate. Gaia Nueva."

Gorem charged what remained of his primary energy reserves into his hands, barely keeping himself standing during the process. Once he had depleted all but a miniscule amount, just enough so he didnt fall right after this ability, he created the sillhouette hands. Even the hands appeared weaker than ussual. They were about half thier expected size. Gorem swung the hands at the horde, at least willing to take out as many of them as he could before he lost.

[Noland Hardy]

Noland was surprised that Daniel commended him on his brawling tactics regardless of the fact this battle was basically a team deathmatch. He ignored the comment referencing their past encounter due to the fact the Terrorists used both their guardians and the Pack and still didn't manage to do anything significant. Once he heard Daniel say something about needing an army, he immediately replaced his serious look with an annoyed facial expression. "Are you fucking kidding me? How many times have those things backed you up?" Noland asked in reference to the Pack. Once he saw Belphenoid and Asmodeus enter the battle with their armies, Noland laughed at Daniel and said, "Your hypocrisy is just as disgusting as your motives."

Noland then watched in amazement as Shatter Gorem began displaying what made him a legend initially. His unwavering endurance was a definite reason why Allen was the best tag partner for him in Noland's own opinion. Their restraints were quickly dealt with by Gorem's abilities. He then launched an attack against the horde, which caused Noland to comment, "That's underwhelming for what you're capable of, Gorem." He placed an ability on his gauntlet to use in conjunction with the attack, but was not pleased that he had to use the card so soon. "Continue the attack. More energy is on the way."

He then activated the ability on his gauntlet that was one of his trump cards as well. "Ability activate! Phoenix Tornado!" Drago unleashed a giant phoenix avatar that surrounded both his and Gorem's bodies, continuously rejuvenating them while they remained under its influence. Gorem's hands that were continuously battering the enemy became amplified with Drago's power, which not only caused them to become larger and cause an explosion upon impact, but it also gave Gorem the necessary energy to prolong his assault and still have a lot of energy left in his reserves.

Drago purposely kept himself and Gorem inside the avatar until they've absorbed enough of its energy to retain what they had prior to their engagement. Once he realized there was only a matter of time before he couldn't keep the ability active, he commanded the scorching entity to soar high into the air in a flash before calling it back down on his opponents. "Let me know when you've had enough, lap dog," Drago said to Belphenoid as the phoenix crashed onto him and his two teammates, causing a massive explosion over the area.

[Daniel Andersen]

Looking at Belphenoid and other two getting blasted by Drago and Gorem didn't give much worry since he never cared about the Pack. He simply turned to Noland and commented on his statement about Daniel's motives. "By what you've said you claim knowing my motives."
Then he charged up his gauntlet and uploaded two cards at once.
"I don't know about my teammates, but I don't care about money and power. We could say that I am fighting for the same cause as you do, but in a different way..." Daniel continued as his gauntlet kept on glowing stronger. He then looked at Belphenoid and sighed as his gauntlet was producing a weird sound. "Energy cap is full! Dual Ability, activate! Belphegor Claw and Acid Breath!"
Belphenoid was still pretty much beaten by Noland's and Allen's moves, but its mind was pushing him to its limits and above. Belphenoid was so determined to battle despite he was hurt like hell and barely could stand up. Then he opened his mouth and released a powerful blast that spread some kind of saliva all over the place covering both Drago and Gorem. It seemed that matter was actually some kind of acid according to the pain that Drago and Gorem were expressing.
Then Belphenoid rushed towards Gorem and thrust-slashed him producing a metal sound.
Gorem fell on the ground as dust rose and covered the area.

[Makoto Nakashima]

Since Gorem managed to break free and let Dragonoid escape as well Makoto needed to think a little before making a move since a wrong decision could lead to the dead end. Then he turned to Daniel and Akane saying: "Don't waste your breath on them"
He turned to Asmodeus who was ready to engage again. "Ability activate! Mystic Echoes!"
Asmodeus didn't waste time, but took a deep breath before releasing a powerful screech.
Screech was so powerful that it started to crach the ground, glass and walls in the nearby.
It was tormenting Dragonoid and Gorem who were trapped under the sticky acid and their powers were quickly dropping.

[Akane Huomoto]

"Okay, I found something of use for you Abbadon!~" Akane happily hums as she draws out the deck of cards stashed in the far back of her cardholder. "Heh, I forget I had this deck with me, I'm glad I found it to for you Abbadon!" She takes a card out of the small stack she was holding, happy to have found some cards for the demonic bakugan so he wasn't left out from all the fun. "Ability Activate! Flaming Tempest!"

Abbadon charges at Dragonoid and Gorem, who were stuck in Dainel's sticky acid, unable to move, and leaps into a the air when being not too far away from the due to resistor bakugans. The demonic bakugan started to spin, the body bursting into black and red flames, and crashed into Dragonoid and Gorem, delivering a fiery blow to the two of them. Abbadon quickly leaps back once the fire had died down on his body, digging his claws into the ground as he slides back.

[Allen Silva]

Gorem would have been knocked back by Abbadon's blow, if Belphanoid's web and Asmodeus' screech wasn't keeping him from moving, even if he wanted to. Instead, Gorem leaned back, then whiplashed back to a slouch. Whatever Asmodeous did is weakening the golem once again. Wouldn't be long before he succumbed to his injuries, resulting in a rare defeat." Allen, can't take much more of this."

Allen rifled through his cards, looking for a move to pull this match out. Wasnt likely to happen, but he at least found a stalling card." Ability Activate! Gravel Roam." Allen activated the ability that he hoped would turn the tide once again. It was a ability that he always put faith in, using it before finishing the brawl.

Gorem charged some of his restored energy into his fingers. He used all his physical strength to reach down and grab a handful of gravel. He threw a rock at his bindings, then another at Drago's. he then tossed the rest of the handful at the Pack, with surprising accuracy considering its rocks and dirt. This move, if nothing gave Gorem breathing room.

[Noland Hardy]

"You kill thousands for no reason and you claim you and I are fighting for the same cause? You can't be that stupid to believe what you just said," Noland responded. "I would be impressed if you could actually give me plenty of good reasons why you believe murdering thousands of people has anything to do with what I want. I'm sure there's a 'good' reason why those followers of yours put up with you." With that said, he immediately pulled out one of his favorite cards to use as of late. He figured it was necessary to use against three opponents who each contained as much strength as Drago and Gorem. "Ability activate! Evo Igniter!" Noland declared as he activated the ability on his gauntlet.

Drago surrounded himself in a crimson-colored veil that restored and significantly amplified his power three times over, drastically increasing his mobility and power above his base limit. Noland was only getting started with providing the dragonoid more power since he immediately followed up with another attack as he said, "Inferno Buster!" Drago charged a stream of compressed solar and Pyrus energy in his mouth upon activation. As he did this, part of the gorund below him began to shatter due to the sheer force of the attack he was about to unleash, which increased in power due to the benefits he received from Evo Igniter as well as the attack being stronger due to him facing three opponents. Once he finished charging it, he fired a massive stream of energy at the Pack, causing the surrounding area to catch on fire.

[Daniel Andersen]

Fire surrounded the Pack and started burning them like paper. Daniel just smiled and spoke in an evil tone: "Sour grapes, Hardy. When you don't understand you claim it to be stupid."
Fire kept on burning the Pack and a disgusting smell of flesh started to spread all around the place and it was so disgusting that all except Daniel covered their mouths and noses. 
His gauntlet flashed and he yelled: "Ability activate! Inner Hate Wave!"
Belphenoid started roaring as a mad beast as bodies of all Bakugans and their respective brawlers started to glow as well. Belphenoid sucked in all fire around himself turning into Darkus energy which manifested as a dark glow on Belphenoid's skin.
"Reason of these two putting up with me is only known to them. I don't care whether they win, lose or die. They are merely pawns of this game. It was not my decision."
Belphenoid started to roar and spit acid all around the place as he was rabid. His muscles and bones started to expand as several spikes grew from his back. Asmodeus and Abaddon were still weakened by the last attack, so Daniel was preparing to recover them as well. But first he wanted to answer to Noland's comment of him killing thousands of people.
"You humans are just like a mad disease. You spread like disease, take over like disease and destroy like a disease. It would be better to eliminate you first before you eliminate this planet.
Many people have asked me why I kill my own kind, but truth to be told...humans are not my kind. To be honest, this body is not my either. Name 'Daniel Andersen' is just a label of this body and its previous user who was such a fool to oppose me and be like you; blind in his mind"
When he ended with his little speech his eyes turned completely crimson as he yelled: "Once my plan is complete original owner will be erased and my control will be absolute. I won't have to feel his pathetic emotions ever again! Ability activate! Demon Excavator!"
Belphenoid released a powerful blast towards the sky and created another large vortex which quickly started with Bakugan mass-summoning. In no time they were all over the place and their numbers grew to a point they couldn't be counted anymore. 
Belphenoid made a powerful roar as Darkus emblems appeared on Asmodeus and Abaddon. Wild Bakugans started to turn into dust which was absorbed by these two Bakugans. It took them a few seconds, but all wild Bakugans were destroyed and their energy was used to restore Asmodeus and Abaddon. "Annihilate these pests!"

[Makoto Nakashima]

"Ability activate! Mystic Echoes and Screech Cannon!" Makoto announced as he uploaded new abilities to Asmodeus who started screeching. New energy allowed it to raise its powers to an enormous level.
Asmodeus took the battle lead and released a sreech so powerful that ground started to crack and waves of dark energy kept on blasting Dragonoid and Gorem.
They were in pain due to a horrific sound produced by Asmodeus that was not intending to stop with its attack

[Akane Huomoto]

“Geez, you can act real strange sometimes Danny,” Akane sighs, using the nickname she randomly came up for the darkus terrorist just to poke some fun, but not too much or he would go killing crazy…

“My reason won’t be needed… For I would not like to partake in this strange conversation because it is so strange, and confusing,” The pyrus user says, adding on the last part in a soft whisper. “Anyways, let’s go Abbadon!” Akane calls as she holds out her selected cards of choice, the demon bakugan springing into the attack to add on to the damage inflicted. “Double Ability Activate! Reinforcing Explosion and Sol Cannon!”

With the said ability, Abbadon crashed on the ground, causing a wave of fire to be spread around the field, much like a meteorite explosion in some ways. The flames from this crash enhanced the attacks of the other two terrorists, making it more powerful than it was before in one way or another. Then Abbadon raised his head into the air with his mouth slightly opened where glowing red particles accumulated. The red particles builded up to form a fiery orb, very much capable of doing damage to whomever the orb was going to be thrown at.

“Looks like playtime is over…” Akane whispers quietly to herself.

Torahu in her small toy form hops on her shoulder, “Still can't get around… That?”

Akane slightly nods, enough for Torahu to understand her response, “Yeah… I can’t do it like the others can… There’s just too much in one to take it sometimes…”

[Allen Silva]

Allen reached to his cards and found he had only one left. The ability he never, ever wanted to use, because it was the all or nothing ability. If this fails, Gorem will lose. He held up the card, which shined twice as bright as any other card he played." Ultimate ability activate!"

Shatter Gorem reached into his conscious, farther than he had ever gone before. He pulled out every ounce, every drop of energy he had. That included his reserve he had built up over the years him and Allen had battled as a duo. He released all of that energy, unleashing a huge geyser of brown aura around him. The geyser shifted and twisted and reformed itself until it formed a colossal version of Shatter Gorem." Titanic Gaia." Gorem pulled his fist back, as the gigant did the same." THIS IS THE END OF YOU AND YOUR TWISTED DREAM' PREPARE!" He launched a high speed, high power jab. The larger version released a jab of his own, boasting tremendous physical power, aiming to demolish all three pack members in one shot.

[Noland Hardy]

"It was not your decision... He must be referring to the guy that averted his death when he attacked me the first time. Was it Nero?" Noland contemplated in his head. He heard Daniel ramble on about how much of an issue humans are according to his viewpoint and didn't think it was necessary to respond to these things. Once he began hearing the villain imply that he wasn't human and somehow took the body over, Noland lost focus of what he was saying simply because it sounded too ridiculous to be true. "Um...are you on drugs?" Noland asked in a disrespectful manner.

He then shifted his attention to Allen's activation of Gorem's strongest ability, Titanic Gaia. He was aware that Allen was going in for the kill if he had to resort to an ability like that. "He's not one to use an ability like that unless it was a last resort. Our opponents are usually beaten before it gets to this point, and from the looks of it, it seems to be the most logical approach since Daniel just used Demon Excavator." Noland said in his mind as he recalled the second time he battled Belphenoid when he continuously regenerated himself after each mortal wound from that ability's usage alone.

He then pulled out one card to use on his gauntlet while saying, "If the only way through is to destroy them completely, then this is the only remaining option." Noland held up his hand as it started shining through the dark sky with a rainbow-colored aura. This caused Drago to change his color scheme into a rainbow-colored Bakugan as well, signalling that the duo had just begun powering up to their full power. As he clenched his fist, he activated the ability on his gauntlet as his ultimate ability card was activated, which was higher in power compared to both of his other powerful techniques, Fusion and Sky Supremacy, combined. "If even this ability fails..." Noland couldn't finish the statement since he didn't know what he was going to do if an ability such as this one didn't finish the job.

"Ability activate! Genesis Supremacy!" Drago's eyes flashed as he rose into the air with a determined look on his face. Numerous lightning bolts began striking around him as energy started to amass in large proportions around his body, forming an orb near the center of his chest. As this was done, Drago began saying, "You should feel honored that you get to be the first to experience how painful this one's going to be. Even that phantom dragon wasn't a capable candidate for this one." The energy started reaching critical levels to the point where it was time to unleash the energy. "Submit!" Drago roared as he spread his arms outward, unleashing a giant blast that obliterated the area around them as it traveled towards his foes.

[Daniel Andersen]

"You don't believe my story? Well, I will show it to you in a more convincing way." Daniel said as his voice turned into somehow more deep and dark; practically demonic which was not a very natural or even normal thing to hear. 
His eyes started to glare in crimson again while his blood vessels started to glow in dark-red combined with a shade of dark-purple. "You still think this is what 'humanity' created?"

At this point, Noland and Allen combined and launched their most powerful attacks which started heading quickly to the Pack. Space touched by only a bit of this power was turned into ashes.
Daniel knew he had to do something quickly, but had doubts that Makoto and Akane would be able to do the job by themselves. He looked at Noland as his voice turned into something completely different; like a voice from the worst nightmare and horrors.
"Let me show you what I think of humans...your race shall die out!" Daniel yelled as his body started to glow in crimson color alongside with Belphenoid, Asmodeus and Abaddon. Powers of three members synchronized creating a new energy plus.

"Triple Ability activate! Belphegor Hell, Cursed Seven and Blood of the Fallen!" 
Daniel's gauntlet didn't glow that much as he and the Pack did. It was actually insane to watch that Daniel released so much dark energy into the Pack. "Fusion Ability activate! Satan Wrath!" Daniel yelled as he uploaded another card. 
At that point his gauntlet uploaded it, turned completely black and exploded leaving Daniel's hand in blood and scars as shards and particles went right through his hand. It didn't seem like he even noticed, but was only observing the battle. Three Pack members opened their jaws and roared creating a wave of pure dark energy which hurled at Drago and Gorem

Energy blast from two Resistors and dark blast from Terrorists were about to crash. Each blast was producing a soul-piercing sound and was burning everything it touched. Tension kept and kept on growing as two opposing blasts were closing in to one another and then...the impact...

...explosions...fire...smoke...screaming...panic...pandemonium...destruction.......
.....silence.....
.....
.....

Silence...it was present until the smoke cleared only to reveal results of the battle. Dragonoid and Gorem on one side and The Pack on another side. Drago and Gorem were weakened from the last attack and their power was running low, but for the The Pack...
Pack was overwhelmed by the attack. Their powers were obviously not enough to overcome Drago and Gorem. Three Bakugans were completely beaten, exhausted and barely could move.
At that point Daniel turned to the Pack: "Is this all what you can do?! Worthless junk"
He was enraged that the Pack couldn't do the job, so he started preparations for the next move.
His whole body started glowing in crimson and dark-purple when he rose the hand on which his destroyed gauntlet used to be. "Belphenoid, use my own blood as energy! Demon Excavator!" yelled Daniel as particles of his blood started to infuse with Belphenoid empowering him back to his original power. When Belphenoid's energy was restored he released a screech and a portal opened in the sky. Another horde emerged from the portal. Belphenoid caught one wild Bakugan and chewed him to death draining all his energy. Asmodeus and Abaddon did the same. After a couple of seconds Pack was ready for another round of beating and they still had the horde to help them.
