"Yes...those are some great questions coming from Markus, but..." Vince was thinking after being briefed on the current situation. "What weapon is she referring to?"
The Legendary Soldiers seemed to be focused on that part of the conversation more than the rest. Maria basically told them what they already knew about the Hurranians. While the Mechanical Bakugan were an issue if mishandled, this "weapon" that was referenced wasn't making them any more comfortable than they were.
"That's not a very friendly toy you're speaking of there, Miss," Frosch warned.
Clayf didn't like it being mentioned either, especially in the manner that they were expressing its use. "I'm guessing that we're the only ones who are aware of what that weapon is actually for?"
Lars Lion stared at Apollonir when it was brought up. She saw the tense look on his face when this device was referenced. It was the one thing he never wanted to hear about again. That's why it was hidden in the first place. "Apollonir, I think we should tell them that-"
"Enough." Apollonir silenced everyone in the room with his roar. He was obviously unhappy. "Who or what is this source that told you about that? I want to meet it up close."

Everyone concentrated on the weapon matter that Maria mentioned. She was not quite finished with all what she wanted to say, but guess they already could picture it themselves.
Regarding her source she assumed what reactions were going to be once they see the person; probably will feel immediate mistrust and will hesitate to cooperate. No one is a big fan of cooperating with a complete stranger right out of the blue. In all honesty Maria did not completely trust him either, but when they have a much bigger problem to deal with they could need every bit of help they could use.
"Very well." Maria approved. "Someone wants to see you." She loudly said knowing that the person would already know what the fuss was about. She did not know much about that weapon herself and by 'not much' it means 'nothing at all'.
"I answer terror with terror."

The masked person stood up from his/her seat when his/her presence was required. While the mentioning of the particular device ruffled some feathers, even the Legendary Soldiers had to understand that its use was necessary.
"So I've heard," he/she sarcastically responded to answer the call. He/she walked to the center stage alongside Maria to address Apollonir directly. "I'm the one you wanted to see, Apollonir. What seems to be the problem? There wasn't an issue when it was used last time, even though it didn't do exactly what you wanted it to do. Maybe it would be a different story this time, that's if you choose to make this easy and cooperate."
Speaking like that to a Legendary Soldier didn't seem like the wisest thing to do, but in a matter like this, there was no being nice about it. He/she knew what that weapon was going to do, so there was zero ignorance at play here.

Vince glared at this masked person when he/she took the stage. "Either this person has credible information or these Silver Knights are incredibly stupid. I only trust those who I can recognize by face, not by mask." The mask was making it very difficult for Vince to believe that this was their informant. Why would a mask be necessary here?
"You have a lot of guts to speak to me like that," Apollonir commended. It was more than likely a compliment to his/her stupidity rather than bravery.
"Especially when you're a soldier of Fury," Vince added. He could sense the dark power this person had in their body, almost smelling it even.
"You reek of that sinister power my enemy holds. I cannot have someone of your power to have that device at the fingertips under any circumstance. I won't allow it. I'll kill you before you ever get within reach of it."
The other Soldiers stood there in observance of this masked person. Vince and Apollonir's instincts were definitely on point. This person was obviously tampered with by Fury, their current mortal enemy.
"You need me to remove that mask of yours? It would probably be a lot easier to tell whether your forbidden energy makes a difference or not just by getting a good look at who you really are," Oberus requested.

"Considering that you would have turned out the same way had you been in the Doom Dimension for a second longer, you have no room to speak, Vince. You're not so good yourself either," he/she responded. "And while we're on that topic, you should actually be pleased that I hold this power since that means you know I won't make a mistake in its usage, unlike a certain Dragonoid here."
He/she was referencing how Apollonir had failed to destroy the Hurranians like he should have all because one was left alive.
"By the way, it's not important that you know who I am. I'm only interested in being seen by my work rather than my appearance. You would understand that since you just judged me based on what was used to bolster my abilities. And since you chose to threaten me like that, I'll throw one back at you. I'd kill you before you're ever allowed to choke like you did three-hundred years ago."
His/her attention was immediately drawn away from Vince and the Legendary Soldiers to who came walking into the gathering hall. Hades was suddenly summoned into its monster form out of nowhere, it was locked on to the person that came walking in - Noland's grandmother, Vince's mother.

"My my..." 'She' said in a dreadful and intimidating tone. It looked more like a voice of a monster than of an old woman. "...look at all these corpses lined up..." No one was certain what was going on, but no one remembers Noland's grandmother to be talking with a monstrous tone like that.
'She' kept walking further with a psychopathic smile on 'her' face. Those eyes giving a cold stare to everyone in the room were quite an intimidating sight to see.
"You're a funny one, Admiral." 'She' laughed quietly. "This is all very very amusing..." 'She' continued speaking in that dreadful tone while looking at everyone locking 'her' sight from one person to another.

To say that Noland was horrified at seeing his grandmother walk in there like that would be undermining what the actual truth was. He was scared, not only for what could potentially happen to her from escaping her containment, but that she was out at all.
A red flash appeared out of nowhere at the same time Hades was summoned to confront Sandra. Drago appeared in the center to prevent Hades from hitting her should it open fire. "I'll take great pleasure in killing anyone who attempts to put her down," Noland promised.
"So will I," Drago growled in agreement.
Noland came forward to confront her, impeding any further advancement. He was abusing his immunity to the Hurranians to the fullest here. His physical condition was far beyond hers thanks to his Gundalian prowess, so it was nice that he was the only one that could physically stand in her way.
"Let's get right to the point. Are you going to hide behind my grandmother or are you bold enough to show yourself?" Noland knew that it wasn't Sandra speaking based on the voice. It had to be someone else, someone far more evil.

We Are Monsters "That voice..." Deathcrown said inside Daniel's head.
Daniel immediately recognized the voice and if it was not for the voice he would have recognized the smell; same smell he could feel on Virus when it awakened, same disgusting smell as on those creatures inside those terrifying laboratories.
His heart quickly filled with rage and his eyes flashed in red. He stepped close to Noland facing Sandra with an intimidating expression.
"BASTARD!!" He let out a loud scream while looking at Sandra. "You don't even have courage to face us by yourself, you disgrace?! How dare you lay your hands on her?!" Daniel continued yelling in rage.
Kuzuha did not recognize the person at all since she had never met him or heard him talk, but she got worried when she saw Daniel getting so worked up about it himself.
However, Wolveride was the one who immediately recognized the voice as well. He heard it plenty of times in the distant past. "Murderer...You dare to come here and take control of innocent woman... Show your true face, bastard." Wolveride angrily commented and immediately went to his monster form.
"I don't follow. Who are you talking about?" Kuzuha curiously inquired.
"Kyuki...legend among terrorists. Man directly responsible for creating Virus who control us and master Daniel. He, who tore master's family apart. He, who created so many atrocities we have fought lately. Monster among humans!!!" Wolveride explained. He continued roaring angrily not being able to hold his wrath against the one who had taken his masters from him and ruined 11 years of Daniel's life. Kuzuha only put a shocked expression not expecting that kind of answer.

"Hahaha, my my, isn't this a warm welcome. Just the way I like it." 'Sandra' laughed in that monstrous tone again. Daniel and Wolveride were spot-on with conclusion. Person behind Sandra's behavior was indeed Kyuki. Person who was far worse than any terrorist out there; worse than leader of Chrono Elite himself. Person who has ruined more lives than any catastrophe or terrorist organization.
"Well, ain't you excited to see me, Daniel? How are you and Deathcrown getting along? I heard Virus has made quite a show with Resistors some time ago, hahaha." He laughed in his terrifying tone. He was referring to what Daniel and his Guardians were forced to do; kill countless innocents among which were Tank's very good friend and Seiki's friends and family. Kyuki sure did not feel sorry about it; humans were considered equal to dirt by him.
He then looked at Noland and laughed quietly again. "My, my...I am disappointed. Virus could not kill one kid and a lizard? How funny..." He seemed to be amused by everything that was going on. Looking at all of them he only saw a bunch of monkeys playing in the circus just for his amusement.
"Let me introduce myself properly to this ignorant bunch." He said and bowed in sarcasm. "I am a man who is not allowed to walk into this ruin of a building because he'd get shot after demolishing one of Knights' research facilities." He said sarcastically and continued. "I am the one who is indirectly responsible for deaths of some Resistors' friends and families."
"I am the one who likes to catch a fresh human on the street and cut him open and experiment on the carcass. Or on Bakugan, Hurranian, Gundalian. It doesn't make any difference. I like my materials in any shape and race. Is that introduction good enough for you, walking corpses?" Kyuki sarcastically said to all the people present in the room expecting someone to start firing at Sandra since they now knew what was going on.

Maria's face changed expression again. It was that utter rage again from before, but this time it was not about the briefing being skipped again. That voice and name were not mistaken. She furiously passed by Noland and Daniel pushing both of them aside, so she could pass. It appeared she did not give a single damn about infection.
She looked at Sandra/Kyuki with that intimidating expression that not even Excedra could match with his own.
"What do you want with us, sick bastard?!" She shouted in rage at Kyuki. "Haven't you tortured and kill enough already?! What has this poor woman done to you, huh?!" Maria could not control herself there. It was one of the rare moments to see her being that upset, but that is pretty much every time when she sees such disgusting act done by Kyuki. She still remembers all horrors done to her and Sylvia back when they were just little girls and the fact that Sylvia could not escape and was tortured for another decade with Maria being unable to find her and save her from Kyuki.
Maria's Hydranoid roared angrily at Kyuki. The fact that she was not trampling over Sandra's body was because it still was Sandra and not Kyuki himself there. "You tortured my family, you sick monster. Show your face so I can trample OVER IT!!!" Hydranoid roared in rage. She too remembers everything. Those memories that were carved out inside her brain were only bringing back awful pain and agony, but that was what she had to live with. She would not hesitate to kill Kyuki right here and now if he decided to show his face. "I promised...I would tear you apart with my own two hands...I will keep that promise..."

What Kyuki just said was sickening, almost too sickening to think rationally for a moment. Tank wanted to kill someone in the most grievous way he could think of all because of this despicable waste of life, the one who even he can't put his hands on due to the cowardice of hiding behind another innocent person. Was she next in line? Tank certainly hoped not.
As if there was some underlying force telling him to get up, somehow have the unnatural power to force Kyuki out of Sandra's body, and strangle the doctor, Tank invited himself up front. He put himself in front of Maria, trying to get her to back away. He and Noland could afford to get close; she couldn't, and there was no point in getting infected if they couldn't kill him now anyway.
"'Fresh human?' You like to catch...a fresh human...a FRESH HUMAN...and cut them open? Really? That's all their lives mean to you? You think this is some kind of joke, dickbag? A scientific experiment!?" Tank angrily inquired, holding a very straight glare and didn't bother to blink. He wanted this image to be etched into his memory. He wanted to remember everything that this man has done so that when he finally makes it to him, he can exact vengeance for every one of them. "You...are the person I want...dead at my feet. I WILL NOT allow trash like you who have hurt and killed so many lives to exist...not anymore."
"And to think that a coward like you got John killed...you make me sick," Gladion added.

Kyuki turned his attention to Maria's rage first. He knew that of all people there she hated him the most; he did experiments on her and her sister. Organization he works for killed Maria's parents right in front of her. Because of him countless people and humans lost lives during 'Infernal Order Incident' after his creation Lucanus was awakened. "You still hold a grudge because of your parents? Hahaha. How cruel of you, Admiral. I know Chrono Elite can be a little rough, but I took some free time to find your parents' bodies. I promise to you, I haven't wasted a single part of them. " If words he said earlier were not disgusting enough this was where they reached a critical point. He even admitted to this new crime; he desecrated bodies of Maria's deceased parents and he acted so calmly about it.
"Ahh, John was his name? My apologies for not remembering. What a waste you people decided to bury him; if he ended up on my table instead maybe I would have actually remembered his name. Hahaha." Kyuki said after hearing the name of Tank's good friend who was killed by one of his creations. Even there he was very casual about such disgusting act. "If you miss him so much, boy, do this ecosystem a favor and kill yourself right now. I get another fresh body and you get to meet that worm in the afterlife. Oh, wait he is called 'John', not a rat. Heh, difference must be so thin considering how easily I forgot his name, don't you think?" Kyuki shamelessly said to Tank about John comparing the young man to a rat and disgracing his very existence. Nothing was holy to Kyuki. He would desecrate God if that was possible anyhow.

Listen to howl of our souls Alex was enraged as well, but he had to remain focused. If Kyuki was good at one thing that was using every single loss of focus as a weapon against his enemies. Plus, there was no point in raging at him; that was exactly what he liked to hear. Moreover, he would not come among them just to mock them; there was certainly another reasons why he was there.
He came among those who were in the front. "What do you want? You did not take her body just for the fun of it. That's not how you play your games. Why would you come here of all places?" Alex asked him wanting the reason of Kyuki's actions.
"He would not take his grandmother out of all people for no reason. It is too suspicious to be a coincidence." Dante thought to himself. The fact that Kyuki picked Sandra to be his vessel for this was certainly not a coincidence. He probably wanted something from Noland or Vince.

"Straight to the point. Smart kid." Kyuki laughed hearing Alex talk. He was inspecting every inch of that room, every person, every machine with Sandra's eyes. Then turned his attention back to Alex. "You stole my documents, kid. I don't doubt that purple-headed sister of yours has already figured out what is going on." Kyuki responded. Alex and Daniel raided one of his laboratories and found different documents they were able to steal. After that Lydia started analyzing all the information in order to find the connection.
Alex's silence to that response led Kyuki to speak more. "You've seen the list, kid, haven't you? The list of all those lovely ingredients I need for one of my projects that you happened not to find among my documents." One of the documents Alex and Daniel failed to snatch was about project 'Dead Advent'. It was a project that required DNA codes of several different beings that were not quite 'common'.
"And a few of those ingredients..." Kyuki said then looked at Noland. "...happen to be..." And then he locked his eyes on Tank as well. "...right here in one place...hehehe..." He laughed again. He then focused back on Alex. "These two Resistors and pyro's father happen to have something I might need. Knowing that these three ingredients would just come to one spot makes it hard to ignore. I will enjoy the harvest." Kyuki informed. Even Maria and her sister were on the list even though it was unknown how those two were special.

What was Kyuki talking about? He needs something from Noland, Tank, and Vince? That was the funniest thing Vince has heard since he woke up. "You had me confused for a moment there, Doc. I thought you had everything an idiot like you could ever want since you've become assimilated by the Hurranians, possibly on purpose," Vince noticed.
"Needless to say, the only thing you're accomplishing by being here is pissing us off and giving us a heads up on what you're planning to do us. You know you'd lose if you tried to engage us now, which makes me curious. What makes you so confident that you're going to get anything out of us?"
Apollonir's eyes were locked on Sandra. He was hoping that Kyuki wasn't brave enough to attack them in there. Knowing that hiding behind Vince's mother wasn't going to work on someone with Vince's background, there was a sneaking suspicion that Vince was correct in his assumption that Kyuki did in fact become infected on purpose.
"They're...getting prepared to strike...all of them..." Apollonir blurted out.
