Allen was baffled by everything. The knights were afraid, and the Resistors were only searching for information." Guys. It doesnt matter what this guy can do. We have been through all kinds of hell up until this point." Allen started a speech. He fekt everyone needed a little bit of a reminder who they were. " we fought Baalenoid, who was almost invincible. We toppled him. We even fought the soldiers of vestroia , and mostly won. Theres no one better suited for this than us."
He changed his focus to the scared Silver Knights." You guys call yourselves knights. A ragtag group of brawlers, who half of them just met for the first time with the terrorists are braver than you. We faced multiple unknown threats head on. And before any of you say that we dont get it, don't be dumb. If we dont understand, and yet can have this confidence, whats holding you back. Grow a pair and fight. If you can't, then give up and quit the Knights. "

I am the perfection. Lydia fell on her knees and lowered her head trying to stay conscious after that trick she pulled off against Kyuki to help Sandra out. She was breathing heavily as her body felt quite weird and heavy. It felt way different than the last time she did it and it came with quite a toll on her physical abilities leaving her very weak. She did not show any intention of trying to get up.
"Why are you surprised?" Lydia asked silently after hearing what Allen said. She knew why Knights were afraid. Kyuki was not just another villain. He was not a Hurranian, Spartan or Baalenoid. He was worse. He was the worst among worst. Whoever witnessed carnage left after his appearance could never be at peace after seeing him again at such close distance. "...After seeing your Bakugan, parents, kids and relatives coming alive and chasing after you... Seeing lives being taken after every Kyuki's appearance... How can they not be scared?" Lydia said in a very tiresome tone as she sat on the ground without moving.
She was trying to get up now, but it was not quite working since this new power took quite a bit of strength from her legs and arms. In that state perhaps she should go to rest. "Every visit he makes is an announcement for a destruction of some sort. Since he came here and knows you people are allied to Silver Knights...we can assume where probable strike will occur." Lydia concluded. Noland, Tank, Vince, Maria, herself and her brothers were ingredients for Kyuki and they were all in one place. In the place that Kyuki also really despises; a perfect reason to attack it. Not that it matters whether they know it or not because every time he does attack there is always carnage left behind; lives lost, bodies abducted and turned into monsters...
"I am scared, too..." Lydia said with a bit of shiver in her voice. "I don't... I don't... want to see mom like that again..." She silently said turning her head away.

"How you're behaving right now is exactly why that bitch comes to you to make an announcement. He knows it's easy to intimidate you. You show it to him every time and he indulgences himself with your cowardice. How do I know? I use to do it. I remember how to have fun with triggers," Hydranoid reminded them all.
"Tell you what, Silver Knights and Eden. I'll be out there dismantling them like always; it's what I do, and it's what I'm going to do. You're going to feel like real jackasses when I'm out there busting my tails against him while all of you are sitting in here like bitches crying over your dead relatives and loved ones. Guess what, everyone? Get. Used. To. It. He's got the Hurranians now, so there's no doubt that he's going to do exactly what you don't like. He might even have the Hurranians multiply them just to make you even angrier. That's what enemies do, and I'm going to be an enemy to him by doing what he doesn't like; that's by making sure none of his threats deter me from routing this despicable waste of human life and ensuring that nothing on this scale ever happens again."
Alana felt like Hydranoid hit it right on the nail there. It was rare for her to hear Hydranoid's heroic side. It was starting to become natural to him. Alana could tell.
"I bet most people and Bakugan would have felt the same way about anyone dangerous they've met," Alana added on. "Not to take any shots at Daniel, but we thought what had happened back then with the domestic terrorism was really terrible. I could imagine the people who have seen Cyrus, Attila, Napoleon, and Hitler would have an identical feeling about them too. The threat level between them all doesn't matter - actually, it should matter for only one reason: how you're going to react to it. If you allow Kyuki to invoke fear with his presence that easily, then disband and perish; you automatically lose. You shouldn't be afraid of the person; you should be afraid of what that person is capable of and how prudent it is to not let those capabilities be unleashed on another person."

"I wonder, if I would have turned out like that, if I were to turn down the wrong path." Seiki absent mindedly asks herself, referring to Kyuki in this case.
Her partner shook her head at the though the Ventus resistor was thinking. A little too creative as usual. "Hate to say, it is a possibility like everything else, but you aren't so all is well here." The bird chirps, sitting on her shoulder in her newest evolution form.
Reassured by Ahio's words, Seiki witnesses the events that were occurring. The girl then felt it was her turn to speak, "You people bear the title of knights, yet you tremble in fear." She took a deep breath to catch her thoughts, the bad ones that had once plagued her until recently. "Trust me, I know how you feel. You're going to have to face that fear. Better sooner than later."
Ahio nods her head in agreement, then adding on, "There are people who aren't as strong that are in need of your assistance. You aren't going to leave those people to go crazy as well, have them feel the same despair and fear you're all feeling, are you?" ulla

To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure
Maria was annoyed by all the talk. There was a maniac running loose with a clear announcement that he is going to make a move soon and here they were having a pointless conversation. "I commend your efforts to push them forward, but situation won't change." Maria commented on Resistors' criticism. "Fear is built in every sane living being; it is wisdom in face of danger. I cannot criticize anyone here for being scared of what is about to come." She said. Alex did not explain well to them why exactly Knights were scared at that particular moment. It was the fact that an innocent person who was not involved into this suddenly got involved by force and was used as Kyuki's messenger. Meaning that if he decided to attack them using Sandra they could not fire back because they would harm Sandra and if they do not attack they will get killed.
"Our job and code is to press onward regardless. You can't root out fear in them and you don't have to; everyone will be fighting regardless. No Knight has ever abandoned his or her code over something as fear." Maria informed not recalling that any Knight ever ran away from the battle regardless of their emotions. In a way, they would kill their own emotions so they could focus on the main task.
"As soon as you decide your plan of action notify me. I will have to sort out permissions with second Admiral regarding our mass-destruction weaponry. After all, it is necessary." Maria said to Resistors and Six Legendary Soldiers. Since those six soldiers were a massive threat to anyone siding with Hurranians they would be a good force to have on Knights' side, but knowing Kyuki and Hurranians it is going to take a whole lot more than it, so a few weapons hidden from the eyes of public might come in handy. Being the Third Admiral Maria is still inferior to their second Admiral who was not in the HQ during this all mess and in order to use some hidden weapons.

"If that were the case in all of the battles we've been involved in, Miss, I wouldn't have mentioned it," Frosch replied. "You can talk about your code all you want; that stuff is useless here. The battle begins and ends with what's on your mind. If that's not right, then we'll lose regardless of what you do. We've been there and done that."
"That is why we are very displeased with the fear in the atmosphere. I'd expect the owner of a Hydranoid to be more authoritative against that kind of attitude. That is very unacceptable for what we require," Excedra added.
"That about shrinks who I believe in to a small number," Apollonir revealed, still very unhappy with what he has witnessed here. "But what else can we say? We can only tell them what we have been through. We can't make them adhere to it. We'll need to be extra careful in watching everyone's back in this case. Vince, what do you propose on this end?"
"Well, we do have the Silver Knights for military application and Eden for medical and environmental support. We will need help from both organizations to handle outbreaks as well as to contain them, so that means an agreement between both organizations needs to be reached if it hasn't already; preserving independence is not very important in comparison to the big issue that's pressing us," Vince recommended. "While we're at it, we can put the CIA and FBI to work. We need eyes inside and outside of the U.S. We can't miss anything."
"As for this masked vigilante..."
"You and I need to handle that one. So, in a general explanation, the Silver Knights will take Kyuki and deal with any Hurranian outbreak, Eden will monitor the environment for any Hurranian activity and provide medical assistance when needed, and I will ensure that the masked man does not trigger any unwanted attacks from anyone. As for the Resistors and the rest of the Legendary Soldiers, there needs to be a reasonable spread between both the Silver Knights and Eden."

"Listen, assholes." Hydranoid said out of nowhere. "Hydra!" Maria tried to stop her, but it was pointless. Hydranoid was pissed at their 'guests' and their behavior. "We've been working like this for centuries without any issue, but if you're gonna make a big deal because of this I'll be more than happy to show you the door." She said in annoyance. Except for not liking Legendary Soldiers for their behavior Hydra never acknowledged their power and had no trust in them; just like big majority of Silver Knights. If Legendary Soldiers were to tell them how to do their jobs Silver Knights would have no issues in simply not siding with Legendary Soldiers.
"Psychology of every intelligent living being is to be scared. Some more some less. If you are going to judge effectiveness of our work by that then feel free and go fight alone." And then she turned towards Excedra giving him a cold stare. "Watch your mouths, ugly. My line is apart from your line, Hitler." She rudely said to Excedra. She was thankful to her ancestors whose line separated from that of original Hydranoid line because she seriously did not want to be a part of a line that evolves into ugly monsters.
She then headed outside of the room with last words. "You came here to us and you want to play provocation game and order us around? I'm out." Hydranoid says in disagreement and leaves the room in her orb form through an open door leading to the battle arena where she hoped she would find Grim Reapers to blow off some steam.
Maria looked after her and turned her back towards their 'guests' heading after Hydranoid. She was worried, so she decided to leave. "Unfortunately, you will have to wait for agreement from my superior." Maria said to Vince and Legendary Soldiers and then went after Hydranoid to the battle arena to check on her. Maria's power in making agreements was limited, so she could not do anything about it herself and adding FBI and CIA to the picture was only going to make it harder. Last time those were involved they started sticking their nose where it didn't belong; inside Silver Knights' archives and ancient weaponry. One Admiral could not make decisions alone when it came to this.
"After this is all over...we will be gone..."

"That's why he's still active," Frosch managed to put out. He was struck by one of Lars Lion's lightning bolts for saying that. Some of them were taking this too far.
While Excedra was very disgruntled over the comment made towards him, his actual face depicted a smile, looking like he was eager to burst out into laughter. He looked up at the individual heads as he snickered at them. "Pfft...racist shrew," they said. Then they noticed the main face laughing and were not very pleased to see that. Their scowls made that apparent enough. "I don't know why you're laughing down there. That includes you too!"
"I don't recall any one of us bossing them around," Oberus mentioned. "I don't know about provoking them though. It's kinda hard to tell when it's a Hydranoid saying that."
"...Don't make me come over there, Oberus," Excedra threatened.
"The choice in words was a bit overbearing," Clayf noticed. "Perhaps the point should have been made a bit differently."
"I concur, Clayf; however, it will be the same point. It is not necessary that we stay on this topic. Let them head into battle the way that they know how. They have earned the right to do so, given their occupation." Lars Lion wanted to clear the air a bit, not wanting anyone to agree with Zero Hydranoid in thinking they are hostiles.
Vince was thinking about that through reminiscing of his time as a SWAT officer. He should know about fear more than anyone in that room. The plethora of different beings he has encountered on the job would be enough to terrify just about anyone, but it was the job that he signed up for. How could he do that, one might ask? One has to learn how to use that fear as a weapon rather than an inhibitor. First impressions with the Legendary Soldiers mean a lot to them because they've been in the warzone, ones much grander than the one they are about to go to now. They saw the fear in the Knights' body language and their eyes. It was not an act to weaponize their fears into courage; it was a pitiful sight of it weighing them down. Who wouldn't become uncomfortable fighting alongside them seeing that kind of reaction?
"Apollonir...you're right," Vince silently acknowledged, "but what if saying it won't be enough? The Admiral and her guardian Bakugan doesn't want to acknowledge it; it's almost like enabling the Knights to be this afraid. Sometimes, you can't just click from being afraid one second to acting brave. It starts here. Doing what they're doing is how...some officers died back then..."
Vince made eye contact with the observing Knights to resolve some tension. "Listen, all of you," he announced. "Let's not get our roles confused. I'm not here to tell you what to do; the Legendary Soldiers are not here to tell you what to do either. You have people here that already do that for you. I'm only here to advise everyone on what needs to be done. That masked guy and I are in the same situation to all of you; we can only lend you our knowledge, but we can't force you to act on them. I have had the pleasure of working with some of you during the Gundalian crisis and I know you'll do a phenomenal job out there in the field."
Knowing that he should keep this particular topic down for now, he had to mention one more thing. He didn't want to say it, but he was going to anyway. "I know what you've heard could be a little offensive. I know about it. I was in that place once, listening to those who believed that they have everything under control when it comes to encountering these situations. Don't take it personally or you'll miss the message. Keep your heads up high and stay alert. Your brothers, sisters, and your bosses will need your help to protect them. They're counting on you more than ever before, especially now that the Resistors' fate is in your hands."

Noland could sense the stress from Maria when she exited the room. Alex and Daniel had also exited to follow her, possibly to try calming her down or possibly escalate the situation. Whatever the case may be, Noland thought he should offer some assistance. It was the least he could offer from what she did for him before.
He was doing this all while forgetting that Maria had vengeance planned against him for falling on her, even though it was Oberus' fault that it happened.
When he finally exited the briefing room, Noland didn't need to do much work to figure out where she went since her Hydranoid was still making noise. He entered the battle area to find that there was a chat between her, Alex, and Daniel. He didn't interrupt them by speaking out, but his presence stopped their conversation entirely. There was no point in staying quiet then.
"Are things starting to wind down over here?" Noland inquired. "You looked stressed when you left. Plus, some of the Knights have been asking about you, wondering how you're doing."
"Welp...you died, Noland..." Drago kept to himself. He had a feeling Noland was about to get hurt for what happened earlier.

To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure
Hydranoid was still very upset, but she did not look like she was in the mood to have a conversation judging by the force she was using to fire at the battle dummies across the arena. Alex was there advising Maria to leave Hydranoid to have some private time, so they all can calm down and think about everything. Daniel was advising Maria to go to her room and cool her head from all this and the way he said it was probably something he is going to regret later.
"I...I'm fine..." Maria answered Noland in a quiet tone. "No, you're not." Her Hydranoid shouted from way over the other side of arena. Wonder how she even heard Maria say anything in that quiet tone. "You can't save everyone. Stop overthinking it." Hydranoid spoke again to Maria who did not want to reply to that. Guess issue really was there somewhere with her. She finally decided to say something to Hydranoid. "How can I be a Knight if I don't do something?" Maria inquired.
Hydranoid let out a sigh of annoyance as she punched another dummy into the wall shattering the dummy into pieces. "This isn't about Sylvia, is it? You started acting like this since she was brought here. How long are you going to keep blaming yourself for it?" Hydranoid said referring to Maria's younger sister. Maria, Sylvia and Hydranoid were abducted by Kyuki as children. Maria and Hydranoid managed to escape, but Sylvia did not and for long years she has been tortured and experimented on. Maria could not hide her happiness when Daniel found Sylvia, but after finding out Sylvia was chipped like Daniel she had to be closed in the cell because no one knew what that chip was going to do exactly. Maria tried to move that thought out of her mind, but unconsciously she became overprotective towards everyone not even realizing they could fight for themselves. "How can I not? She was just a kid and I couldn't..." Maria tried to reply only to be interrupted by Hydranoid.
"So were you. What is an 8-year-old with an inexperienced Hydranoid supposed to do against an army?! You did a good thing." Hydranoid calmed down a little bit and turned towards Maria. "If it weren't for you Daniel would have not been saved. And if he had not been saved he wouldn't have found her when he did. Now, drink your milk and rest up, idiot." Hydranoid was kind of acting like Maria's mother. After all, Maria's mother did raise Hydranoid and that was where they shared this 'motherly attitude'. "...Hahaha..." Maria couldn't stop herself from letting out a mild laugh at what Hydranoid said. She probably realized Hydranoid was correct after all.
"Thank you..." She said quietly and turned back heading towards the door to head to her room. Noland, who went to see if she was okay, was in the way and she was not going to ignore him there. She stopped there in front of him starring at him expressionlessly. She then made another step forward getting very close and scaring Hydranoid who did not want to see another poor soul suffer Maria's torture.
At that point Maria got very close and calmly hugged Noland pressing his head against her chest since she was somewhat taller. "Aren't you just the sweetest little Gundalian?" She said in a tone that seemed somewhat happier than before speech with Hydranoid who was now busting her brains over Maria's recent action.
"Aww...I still have to kill y...err, punish you for earlier, but I guess it can wait." She said in a tone that might have been a joke or not. No one was ever absolutely sure if she was joking or not. She knew that there was a certain stalker around and that it was not safe to hold Noland's head pressed against her chest for too long (even though he didn't seem to mind it at all) or it might awaken murderous intents in that one person. She then let go of him and smiled. "We don't want your three girlfriends and biggest fan to get angry now, do we? They might kill me before I get the chance to kill y...err I mean punish you." She said again and walked past him and headed towards the door. "Thank you, too." She said silently as she walked out that door entering the corridor and heading towards the elevator to her apartment. Hydranoid calmed down a bit, but she was still beating the hell out of the dummies. "You're welcome, kid..." She said silently back there.
"I answer terror with terror."

Noland was frozen for a bit after being hugged like that. It certainly came as a surprise, and he definitely wasn't complaining about where his face was. Drago knew Noland was thinking about what he had just experienced, so he tried to snap him out of it due to Maria's blatant death threats.
"Um...she's not really hiding what she wants to do to you..." Drago sighed. He was going to be very shocked if Noland didn't realize that by now. "Also...I'm telling." Drago flew off to let Alana and the girls know about what happened. He became greatly amused when jealousy is in the air. He couldn't help but wonder what would happen this time. Vince had to be let in on this one too; he could try and marry Noland off to Maria this time.
"That's just...sad. I see why they left now," Noland subconsciously realized from what he heard. "What she saw and heard...it made her feel weak. What if that masked guy was right? What if the people we see in here now...just won't make it through? We're fighting a battle where...many of us will be destined to die in...and we can't stop it from happening..."
He also realized something else. The power he has makes him a very likely target, as Kyuki had a lot of fun explaining earlier. "I can't get over it. I'm placing everyone in here on death row just because Drago and I have the Switch Code. If they get their hands on me, then we can forget about everyone else on this monster's list. If they nab Tank, then they can possibly make their infection stronger. As long as they don't have us...they're going to attack... Are these people really about to die...just because of us?"
"It's all starting to come full circle now..." Noland finally spoke out loud, but not as loud as Hydranoid was with all of her noise. "Fighting battles like it's your last...no better time to think that than right now...everyone..."
