Episode 45: Plan To Eradicate the Bakugan

In an unknown location, insidious developments were being made inside of a high-tech laboratory. Allow the head scientist to walk you right through them with his "insightful" commentary.

"I have some...very somber news for all of you today," he started. "My - err, OUR beloved Dasia has been killed in battle...again."

"Probably won't be the last either," he said in his mind, knowing that the Hurranians would hear what he said anyway.

"Fear not! Ladies and gentlemen, we can rebuild her... We have the technology!" As he was saying that, Boriates was seen operating on a table. There were a total of four beings there: Dasia, Roxy, Lauren, and Richard. Their bodies were not complete yet. As they waited, the Hurranians had to deal with the head scientist being in charge of everything. "We can make her better than she was. Better, stronger, faster...whatever her ego allows. All of you, pick a god and pray that this will be the last time we have to do this."

Boriates finished building Dasia from scratch. It zapped her with a bolt from its head to wake her up.

"...I died again, didn't I?"

"Yes. That Markus fellow seems to have your number. Did you stop to think that he was present for the two times you were put down?"

"Yes, Chris, I noticed," she annoyingly grumbled.

"I'm glad you did. Now...are you ready to hear about the awesome scheme we have going on here?"

"Please. Enlighten me, o wise one."

"I wish you wouldn't sound so sarcastic when complimenting me. Anyway...we have prepared a mock simulation of your past failures...battles. I meant battles! There were some situations we couldn't replicate, like Apollonir's Duality; however, we can allow you to practice against Zero Hydranoid's Misfortune 13 form at 100% capacity to make up for it, provided that you have a couple of reps with that opponent. We've also designed a new mechanical Bakugan to replace Hades. Its name is Fortress, our own rendition of the Robotallion and Lasermen Earth's military regularly uses. It has identical capabilities to Hades, including dimensional manipulation."

"So you're trying to force me to become comfortable in those situations?"

"That, and we'd also like it if you learned from those engagements at a faster rate, so that we may be able to counter these brawlers easily. There's no more time for fun and games with these people. This is the endgame. We must treat it as such to win. There's a tiny space for error, and that's in the ground. Do you understand?"

"Yeah, yeah. I got it."

Boriates had somehow gotten a reaction from Roxy's body, as if it sensed that she had something to add to the conversation. Not knowing what this act would bring, Boriates decided to revive Roxy anyway.

"Um...excuse me, science guy?" Roxy requested while being confined to the table.

"Ah, yes. I had almost forgot about you. What is it?"

"Listen, I think you're doing such a great job here - even failing to mention that it was MY body that Dasia died in - and well...I'm beyond sick of this routine. Get me out of here!"

"So let me get this straight. You want me - the most brilliant of all scientists - to let you - a useless Aquos brawler like Marucho was in Earth's history - to be set free, just because you're sick of dying?"

"Uh, duh."

"You say that as if you weren't going to die anyway. I did everyone a favor."

"I would've been perfectly fine if it wasn't for you. You're just scared that I'm going to whoop your ass!"

The head scientist gasped for a moment, but then dialed it back down very quickly. "You'd get me with that if I was Dasia," he replied. "It's very easy for me now. The best way to upset a woman is to do something she doesn't like. So I'm going to keep you here. How about that? How much longer will you bitch to us? In fact, that's what makes me sick about all of the women we captured, except Dasia for obvious reasons. You and Katherine are the bitchiest women I've ever seen. It's like all Earth women ever do is complain, complain, and complain some more!"

"Like you're doing now, the most brilliant of scientists?" Roxy countered.

"You just costed yourself antivirus protection, young lady!"

"If by virus, you mean the ones ready to destroy all of you, then be my guest."

"We'll see about that. I have numerous traps ready for when we're ready to spring back into action, and guess which two ladies are up first? You and Katherine! I can't wait to see the look on their faces once they realize their damsels in distress are out in the open, getting gutted by Kyuki's scalpel. It's going to be a BLAST!"

"Hmph...enough with all of this nonsense," Dasia stopped. "Let's get on with this."

Dasia personally summoned a Pyrus Bakugan orb in her right hand, and a blue one in her left hand. She threw the Aquos Bakugan at Roxy's head, knocking her out cold. She then clapped, as if it were a calling signal for someone to come. That someone was Katherine. She popped up next to Dasia, awaiting her command. Dasia gently placed the red Bakugan in the palm of her hands.

"I want these two to be apart of my training too," Dasia requested. "So hurry up and start it. I want to become nigh invincible to these mongrels, every last one of them. Instill me with the knowledge that I don't have yet. Make me humble."

The head scientist got all giddy. NOW was the time where people started dropping off in her wake. He was too excited to put it all on paper. "Yes, ma'am! Right this way..."
