"Yes, I have become stronger." I said. I brought my Ocarina back up, and played seven notes in a solemn song. My body became a statue, and I phased behind Grimm. "Elegy of Emptiness. Care to guess what it does?" I drew the Master Sword and grabbed my shield, turning it on as I did so. Its blue glow reflected Grimm's face. "I'm pulling all the stops this time, Grimm." I backflipped away from him, landing about five feet from him, sword pointed at him. "It's about time I show you my 100%, instead of my roughly 35%."

The black flames that is Grimm's cloak shoot out. Atom as expected blocked the attack, but the flames are very intense. Heating up the shield rapidly. The sword is unable to reflect them. When the flames die down Grimm is already swinging. When the order scythe connects with the shield it freezes instantly shattering the shield. A deep black flame wraps around the other blade, and Grimm swings. Atom's master reflexes working overtime to avoid the attack can see the flames follow the path of the weapon. Grimm begins to combo his attacks. Then he finishes it with a grab to Atom's shirt, and throwing him into a wall far off. Creating a decently sized crater in the tree. "So you claim to be holding back too. How pathetic." Grimm raise the chaos scythe. Spears of both chaos and order energy form in mass behind Grimm. All aimed at Atom. "Let us truly see if you speak the truth." The spears begin their barrage, with more forming, and more throwing themselves at Atom.

I watched the spears come at me, then raised one hand. I smiled. "Sa-Per." My hand glowed. "You wanted me to speak the truth, huh?" Every spear came close, but didn't hit. They all continued to land, just barely missing me, creating a remarkably good outline. Then the spears began to hit themselves as they continued getting sent, shattering themselves. "You have your magic, Grimm, and I have mine. Me and my cousin share a common ancestor in Ancient Egypt. One who was in the Per Ankh. The House of Life. Magic runs through our veins. And while I didn't get the training she did, I was trained by her to harness that magic. Sa-Per is a Divine Word, and it literally makes the attack miss, as you can see." The spears continued missing. "Any questions?" I reached into my pocket and grabbed my notebook. I opened it to a seemingly random page. "Let's try this, shall we?" I began reading. "Attack here, attack there, you will attack everywhere." Grimm's spears, still angled the same way, began to rapidly change direction, hitting everywhere along the wall. Everybody else ducked to avoid any that might find their way out. I dropped down, and blew into the Ocarina again. I blew two notes high, then low, then medium, and repeated, getting faster every loop. "Thesongofdoubletime."* I said quickly. "Itspeedsmeuptotwicemyusualspeed,allowingmetoattackfaster."** I reached into my pocket faster than anybody could see and grabbed another shield, then dashed extremely quickly at Grimm, swiping in every direction seemingly simultaneously. "I'mlikethewind!"***
(*The song of double time.)
(**It speeds me up to twice my usual speed, allowing me to attack faster.)

As Atom swings down on Grimm with his sword. Grimm counters in two ways. First the chaos scythe connects to the flat of the blade. Then the master sword Atom pulled out shatters. the blade broken. Then Grimm brings the order scythe on top of Atom. It goes through a couple of his fingers thanks to his reflexes. But Atom can no longer feel them. This isn't a numb feeling. He can't move them either. "Chaos breaks. Order cuts. I can choose what gets cut and doesn't. I can also choose what breaks." Grimm warps behind Atom and kicks him into another wall. "You don't want to be hit by either. With the Chaos Scythe here I can chose to break your mind. With its twin, I can cut the connection between your nervous system. All I have to do is land one single blow."

I put the Ocarina up to my mouth again, and played the one song I could with my three useless fingers. High, low, medium, high, low, medium. Time rewinds for be a few seconds, and I retract my blows. The Master Sword reforms, and I regain control of my fingers. Time then proceeded normally for me. "Guess again, Grimm. You might have those Scythes, but I have access to time. As long as I can play, I can keep going as long as I need to. Also, this is the Master Sword. It's an unbreakable blade. If broken, it's just out of energy and needs some time to recharge." I put my sword and shield away, and my hands then glowed. "And since you're so keen on the double play" two wands appeared in my hands. One was tipped in ice, the other with fire, "I'll freeze you to the bone, and burn you to the soul. Get ready! Just like I could with hero items, I can now summon villain items! Watch yourself." I fired a blast of ice magic between us, and turned the entire arena floor into ice. Both of us got caught in the ice. "This is magic ice. While it doesn't last forever, it'll still take a little while to melt on it's own. Additionally, you can't melt manually it unless you have the opposite wand." I brought my fire wand down to the floor, and melted the ice around my feet. "Any questions? No? Good." I sent a beam of fire magic and a beam of ice magic at Grimm.

Grimm fade in behind Atom. Grimm leaps away before Atom can react. "Confused. Well good. Petty tricks like that wont work on my. As for your little toy." Grimm hold the ocarina in his hand. It begins to crack. Then it shatters. "Made of clay, breaks like glass." Atom can notice that the shape of Grimm's eyes are changing. He charges in. Entering close combat. Grabbing the master sword with one hand and ripping it away. The sword got flung so far it nearly impaled Clate. after a few close combat attacks. Grimm gets back. At this point Atom would notice the ice has faded away fast. Grimm's cloack extends itself around his hands. The flames mold themselves into a black giant claws. Grimm then charges again. With such fast speed Atom was caught off guard and slammed into the ground. Grimm the proceeds to pummel Atom. Once finish Grimm picks him up. Atom's head is the only thing exposed. Burns are on his face. Grimm then tosses him again.

I landed hard, but got back up. "Is that the best you've got?" I held up my hand. It glowed brightly, and the Ocarina reappeared in it. "Made of Clay, huh? Try stone. Timeshift Stone, to be precise. Perhaps your writer should do his research first, eh?" I blew six notes in two sets of three, both descending. My burns healed, and I looked forward again. "And as for the Master Sword, well, Zeheb!" The Master Sword glowed, and reappeared in its sheath. "Return home. It's home is its sheath." I put the Ocarina back in my pocket. "I suppose the time for music is over, right?" My hands glowed again, and a rod appeared in my hand. Four statues appeared around the room. I took aim at one, and shot a glowing orb at it. It burst to life and glowed green. I experimentally moved left, then right, and the statue followed my movements. I smiled. "Try this on for size. Dominion Rod!" I moved and positioned the statue next to Grimm, and swung with the rod. The statue swung down with its hammer, poised directly over Grimm. I silently summoned a bottle into my pocket, and it had something special in it.

Grimm catches the statue hammer. "Is time control all you can do to fight me. How good is your time magic. When I remove time itself out of the equation!" Grimm destroys the statue, and the world turns grey. "You are out of time." Grimm gathers order and chaos energy. Then blast a beam of it directly at Atom.

"Bad move." I grab my shield and it morphs into a red-bordered, reflective shield. The beam hits it, and gets reflected back at Grimm, blasting him instead of me. It struck him, and a bunch of dust was swept up. I didn't waste any time, and grabbed my bottle. The fairy that was inside it was quickly replaced by milk, which I drank. I felt my magic energy returning to me, and I knew I had an unlimited buffer for a while. I then pulled out a golden bracelet with a purple glow. I put it on, then stepped into the wall, becoming flat like a painting. I quickly walked around the wall, ending up behind Grimm as the dust settled. I summoned another item, this time a blue hourglass. I tossed it up, and time resumed around me. I remained in the wall, waiting to see what Grimm would do.

Grimm appears more beast like. The energy beam that was reflect gathered in Grimm's hands. Grimm then proceeds to absorb the energy. The flames intensifies even further. Grimm swipes at the wall where Atom is. Knocking him out of it. "Enough. I'm tired of this Zelda BULSHIT! You want to use a video game world's power then I will too. Ever heard of Dark Souls." Black energy gathers in Grimm's hands the energy reminds Atom of his own humanity, and despite how comforting the blackness is be can sense the danger of the attack. Grimm unleashes the attack. Dregs surge forth and rush at Atom. When one of them connects it burns right through him. Eating away the clothes and causing heavy damage to where it touched. There are more coming.

"Well, that hurt." I looked directly at Grimm as my clothing changed. Gone was my usual fabric clothing, and in its place was thick, metal armor. The dregs began to pelt against it, but couldn't get through. "You want to burn me? Good luck with that while I'm fireproof! Face it, Grimm. For everything you can send at me, I have a counter." I faced my hand towards the ground again, and a pedestal appeared. "Let's try something different, shall we?" I thrust the Master Sword into the pedestal, and both me and Grimm glowed blue and dissolved into the air. We reappeared inside an enclosed room, and we both had nothing except for our clothes. "Now we can really get down to business. No abilities, no weapons, nothing in our inventory. Now it's time to get serious. This is a location known as The Master Trials. You want to beat me, you'll have to beat me using whatever you find around here! All of our abilities are locked away, so that means neither of us can summon anything, nor can we use magic. I can't use the items I had in my pockets. All we've got now is our wits and our physical abilities. And yes, Grimm. Your ability to have your body function as a cartoon is disabled here as well. We're fighting on equal ground, now. So draw!" I dashed to the side and picked up a tree branch as I went past. I turned back to him. "Also, we can't leave until one of us gives up."

Atom finds it strange. Grimm's eyes are still silver. He can still sense Grimm's immense power. Grimm also grabs a stick but the moment he picks it up it molds and changes. A crystal appears on it. Once the transformation is finished a staff is now in Grimm's hands. "I told you. I had enough of your Zelda crap. So now let me change your trial." Grimm taps the staff, and the trail warps. A circle of runes appear around the two. Armor build around Grimm. His head covered by a blood red wolf helmet. "I don't know how you managed to stop the dregs. An affinity spell bypasses all armor. Unless less it is magic armor then I don't get it but. Magic is stronger than you think." Blue energy gathers in the crystal of the staff. Atom find access to his normal gear do to the change uses his mirror shield, but soon regrets it. When Grimm fires the beam of energy the shield is useless, and his armor cracking under it. Once finished steam arises from Atom. "You are a lot harder to kill than normal people Atom. So as a reward I will tell you this. Soul magic manipulates one soul or souls and uses the energy generated by them to cast spells. Theses spells are powerful and are dangerous to be on the receiving end of. Now there is another version of this magic. When crystal soul magic is used it will always bypass your armor and shields. So face one of the most dangerous spells. Crystal Soul Spears." Grimm's cast time was near immediate as three large spears of made of magic and crystals head straight for Atom. Each one homing in on him.
Serperios arrives to the sidelines. He notices Reginas struggling to get to Helios. So on his way over to the main group he 'accidently' knocks him to Helios's feet. "Woops. Sorry." As he laughs on his way. (I should have mentioned this sooner but Serperios may have 4 heads but only one can speak at a time for he only has one voice and the heads share 1 personality.)
"What's going on now?" Alice says while freaking out at what she just saw. She grabs Ivan. "Ivan Atom is in serious danger right now. You got to go and help somehow. I need to focus." Serperios finally arrives to the little group.
"Does Grimm's little sister have a plan." Serperios inquries.
"So what if she does you old hand bag." Oberon fires at the hydra.
"Is that really the go to insult for me? Hand bag. A hand bag. Have you forgotten what happens when you piss off a hydra Oberon." The two have a stare down.
"Enough you two. Serperios I expect you to stand back until later I presume."
"Correct Titania. When Grimm needs me. He will call for me. That is why I am here." Serperios glares at Leo who gets shivers down his spine. "After all Leonidas. I wont have to beat you using gravity this time right." The hydra chuckles and makes his way to the edge. He lays down and watches. Some more of Grimm's bakugan arrive. Nerus, Excedra accompanied by Gore is the mist of changing. It appears calm for now.

"So, it's come to this then?" I asked. I jumped out of the way of the spears, and noticed how they continued to follow me. "Grimm, that little thing I did was meant to make things easier for you." I jumped out of the way of the spears again. "But I am through messing around! You want to use lethal force, I will too!" I jumped out of the way of the spears once more. "I-ei!" Grimm suddenly appeared in front of me, and the spears came for us. I grabbed onto him. "Hi-nehm! Tas!" Using those two spells together as one forced us to remain together. Even if Grimm teleported or phased somewhere, I would go with him. "If those spears hit one of us, they'll hit both of us. And based on what you said, we'll both go down! And don't bother trying to go elsewhere. We're connected to the point where if you move, I move!" The spears came close. "This ends now!"

Grimm smirks. "3 2 1" He counts. Atom does a quick check in his head and noticed that he was counting down from thirty. Then Atom can feel a very sharp pain. As the spell fades. Grimm let it rip right through him. Going straight into Atom. Grimm then grabs Atom by the throat. "How unfortunate. Can you feel yourself bleed." As Grimm says with blood coming from him too. "You have an interesting magic at your disposal. I call a name of a god. Hear my plea. Destroy this fools voice for me. Oh great and powerful Seth." Atom feels a searing pain as his voice gets scrambled. "Can't speak the names." Grimm slams Atom into the ground. "You can't heal." Grimm picks him up again, and smashes him into the ground again. By the throat. "You were right this does end now." the box fades and Atom is lying on the ground when he hears Atlas his shadow.
"Atom. What are you doing. One trick pony. Think Grimm wouldn't let his own attack go through him too. The boy is clever and taking many risk." I can't lend you a hand but I got some advice. I can see into this boys heart. Hit him where it hurts. His greatest fear." At that moment Atom can feel the one gift of his shadow. A temporary power nullifier.
Grimm is preparing another attack. The energy in the atmosphere around the two is gathering at an incredible rate. "Good bye Atom." Grimm thrust the energy.

A statue behind Grimm moves closer to him, and whacks him with a hammer. He was flung into the wall. "Did you really think I didn't plan for that?" I asked. "While you were so busy gloating about how you were going to kill me, I silently severed my spirit from my body and bound it to this statue. And now," a fairy appeared over my body, and healed it. "Also, you forgot one little thing. In order to control an Egyptian god, you must know their true name. And unless given to you, you can't use it." I cleared my throat. "Evil Day! Undo the curse put unto me!" A light appeared around my body. "Stahp!" My spirit severed from the statue, and went back into my body. "So much for a one-trick pony, huh?" I got back up, seemingly completely unharmed. "Now, do I have to keep on pulling gags like that, or are we going to actually finish this?" I raised my hand. "Oh yeah, and one last thing. Thanks for the shadow me. He just gave me a new power. Inhibitor!" A divine glow appeared in my hand, and spread around the entire area. Grimm's body lit up the brightest, then the light faded. Nothing seemed to have happened, but it was easy to tell that all the chaos energy had vacated the entire room, for who knows how long. "This'll prevent you from using any of your abilities. As I speak, any and all chaos energy that your body is producing is currently being sent out of this room. Without your chaos, you're powerless, because it's your catalyst for your abilities!"
