Merchant uselessloserinfinty I had to rewrite this entire thing because of a site-glitch. Although, it was probably a good thing. My original was probably at least 2 pages of 11 point font.
A Dimensional Gate appeared in my apartment, and I stepped through with Alice, and by Bakugan followed behind. I set her down, and went over to my alarm to disable it. As soon as that was done, I turned to Alice. "Okay, I'll make my introduction quick. My name is Atom. I know you want to see your brother right now, but that's just not possible. He vanished after Clate, the other guy you healed, challenged him to a brawl. Grimm took one of my Bakugan, and plans of doing an experiment on him to turn him into a Chaos Bakugan. Now, I'm not going to let that happen. You can choose if you'll help directly or not. If you do, I'll bring you with. If not, I'll leave you here. And don't worry about your safety. This room is equipped with the highest tech I can get my hands on in any and all Realities. Don't ask, I'll explain later." I went over to my desk. "Anyways, I need to upload my new data to my algorithm, and that should help me pinpoint Grimm. Give me a moment." I quickly typed in my latest measurements, and my algorithm pulled up two possible locations. "Hold on, this isn't possible. Maybe I entered something wrong." I quickly looked back over my data. "Everything entered right. So, these readings" my eyes widened "impossible. There's no way he can be in two locations at the same time! It's just not physically possible. It just can't be." I continued plugging in data points, adding as much as possible, trying to get rid of the extra location. Nothing worked. "It can't be, but it is." I rested my hands on my desk. "He's in two locations at the same time. I need to find out a way to isolate one of the variables."
Reginas focused. "One more try." He again attempted to dispel the barrier around him. It failed, just like every time before. "Why isn't this working?" "Why do you think?" "Clate?" Wondered Reginas. "The one and only. Being incorporeal is a valuable asset. I can split myself between you can Atom easily. Anyways, the barrier around you, it's not made of chaos energy. Remember how Grimm turned his arm into a metal alloy? It's that same power surrounding you, not his usual chaos." "So, what can I do?" "I have an idea, but it's risky." Said Clate. "I can link your mind with Atom's. There are the inherent problems with that, of course, but there isn't another choice." "Why?" Asked Reginas. "What would drive you to do such a drastic action?" "You death." Admitted Clate. "If Grimm's plan for you even begins, your body and molecular makeup will make it impossible for anybody to stop the process. And when it completes, you body will reject the changes in such a drastic way that you'll instantly die, and your energy will implode on itself. Obviously, I won't let that happen without a fight, but if it does happen, well, I'll end up going berserk, and probably end up hurting Atom. My chaotic self will return, and I'll end up rejoining the Destruction. I won't get as lucky a second time, and Atom will have to destroy me to save the Reality." Clate sighed. "Do you think you can handle it?" Reginas was silent for a moment. "Couldn't you just call on the writer to help me out of here?" "As easy as that would make it, I cannot call on Atomspliter for this. You're in Grimm's hands, and his writer, not ours. Atomspliter can help with your actions, but he can't break you free from Grimm." "Very well." Reginas sighed. "Let's give it a shot." "Also, Reginas, I have a plan that'll probably work, but I'll need Atom to do it. How are your chaos reserves?" "Nearly empty. Why?" "You'll see."
I continued typing furiously, trying to isolate the one variable I needed. "Come on, come on! My algorithm hasn't failed me yet! What could I be missing?" I dug deep into what I knew, going past all the mathematics I had gone through, all the possibilities, everything I had ever learned since becoming a Shifter. Then I remembered something "Of course! Superpositioning!" I quickly began typing. "Grimm is in both locations simultaneously, because his molecules are quantum entangled to another set! His entire base is based around the principles of Quantum Mechanics!" I continued typing, trying to add in my calculations. Then I remembered the inherent problem with that. "Right. In order to solve a Superpositioning problem, I either need a Quantum Computer, or an absurdly good supercomputer capable of simulating at least 100 qubits. Unfortunately, no computers on record have been able to achieve that." "Luckily, you don't need to." "Clate?" I wondered. "Of course. Who else lives in your mind? Listen, I have a plan. I can link you to Reginas, and he can keep you updated on his location." "Wait, link? How?" "As I've said to him, being incorporeal has its advantages. I can split myself between you can him easily, allowing me to have constant contact with both of you. And, it'll allow me to do something else too." Clate took a deep breath. "I can link your minds. And before you say anything, I know. It's dangerous, stupid even, but it's our only chance." "And then what?" I asked. "Just linking our minds won't do much." "I know. That's where the extra danger comes in. Reginas is trapped inside a barrier that he can't dispel because it's not made of chaos. However, if we can generate enough chaos energy, he can release it all and burst the barrier, allowing him to get to a good vantage point to give you an energy signal. And by we, I mean you." "Define 'enough chaos energy'." I said. "Well, uh, that's the, er, interesting part." Clate gave me the amount. "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU THINKING?!" I yelled at him. I cleared my throat. "Nearly said something wrong there. Anyways, that is incredibly foolish! That amount of Chaos Energy would cause me to become a chaos bomb! I'd end up destroying the Reality myself!" "I know, I know. That's where the Mind Link comes in especially handy. I can act as a conduit to transfer all of the chaos energy you generate directly to Reginas. His internal storage is empty and ready. There's just one problem." "And that is?" "There's only a 95.8% chance of success." "And the other 4.2%?" "I end up absorbing the Chaos Energy, break free of you, regenerate my physical body, turn back to my chaotic form and rejoin the Destruction, after cloning Grimm's DNA sequence and his Chaos Seed." "So, in other words, bad." "Exactly." "So, my choices are to try a plan that has a 1 in 25 chance of failure, or go to both locations simultaneously to clamp Grimm's base down in one location to keep it from Superpositioning again. Neither is a good choice." "Which one is the better choice?" I was silent for a moment. "Get me connected to Reginas. It's the best way." "You got it!" Said Clate. He began the mind link, and vanished. "The dangers are great. If one thing goes wrong, excess energy will be expelled or one of us will get sucked up into the other's mind like a vacuum. I just have to hope Clate can keep it stable long enough." I refocused on my computer, and stood up. I turned to Alice and my Bakugan. "Okay guys, this is it. Clate's got an idea. It's dangerous, but it's better than breaking a Superpositioning system. Get ready, we've got a friend to save." I looked at Alice. "Like I said before, you don't have to go with. I'm leaving that choice up to you. And you have a limited amount of time to make that choice. My other friend should be showing up soon, and as soon as he does, we're leaving. The choice is yours."

"Well for starters that wont work." Goes Alice. Seeing the baffled look on Atom's face she goes further. "Well it's a red herring. Grimm isn't at either of the the two locations. They keep changing too suggesting that you algorithmic thing isn't ever going to work unless he forgets. Next. if he is holding onto something he wont always keep it on himself. Lastly don't break the barrier by force. If you can tell me the words he said that formed it I can undo it. Lastly. We will be to late. Grimm works very fast. Some times it is rushing but he is never one to wait to gain an advantage. The best coarse of action would be to find him. But that is where my problem comes in." She looks around and fidgets a little. And she sits on whatever she can sit on. "What has Gre . . . I mean Grimm doing recently?"
Meanwhile in the white void. Grimm stands in a laboratory. "Sir the commendations are almost ready." Something hisses. "We are ready to receive the subject and begin experimentation." A gruff voice speaks.
"Good. I will retrieve the subject at hand." Grimm says as he reaches his hand into a pocket dimension and pulls out Reginas. "Wakey wakey." Grimm notices some chaos energy off of Reginas. "Ooooo. That's perfect. You have some chaos energy in you already. That will make the process faster. Any excess will be drained to the chaos eaters." A bakugan walks up to Grimm full formed. Only twice his height. "Isolate his presence. Such means of being tracked will surely come back to bite us."
"Yes my lord. But I must ask. Who is this?" It is the same hissing voice from before.
"Reginas. A bakugan from a pest. Do you have the report for Ren at the ready. Not only do I want to convert this bakugan to a chaos bakugan but I want a full break down of it too." Grimm commands.
"Yes my lord. The report is ready. And as always I know what exactly you want. So during the conversion we will strip him of his powers. Good bad it wont matter. He will have them back afterwords. We will also get it done as well." Hissed out the scientist.
"Good. I give you the release word Break. Only those given the release word can free him." Grimm tosses Reginas to him. "Also Reginas. You know nolonger what has been said here. Certain information mustn't be spilled." Reginas can feel memory erasing effects washing over him. Usually stuff like this wont work. But this is powerful stuff, and it does. "I'm be on my throne."
"Yes my lord. May the chaos gift you." Hisses the scientist as Reginas is prepped for experimentation.

"Okay, I'm going to assume you don't know anything about what has been going on around the world. Grimm has been, to put it bluntly, a bad boy. Everywhere he goes, he spreads Chaos. And that chaos has a price. I've been trying to keep it down as much as possible, but I'm still limited in what I can do." I turned back to my computer. "So, here's what he's been doing." I pulled up videos of the chaos Grimm has caused over just the past two weeks. Shutting down energy systems in seeming random locations that caused blackouts for large areas, causing mass hysteria everywhere with seeming terrorist activities, everything he had done over the past two weeks alone. "And this is just the past two weeks. I've known him for months, and every time I meet him I have to focus on bringing order to the chaos." I sighed. "Now that you're caught up, what are you talking about? Look, I know how everything seems, but with chaos energy, you never know what'll happen. Not to mention the fact that Quantum Mechanics is the definition of chaos, due to all of the different theories that dictate how much chaos is always going to be happening around the entire universe. Superposition is the lowest order of said chaos, where two different particles are entangled on the most fundamental level, and anything that happens to one happens to the other. While science hasn't been able to replicate it easily, it is possible through control of chaos to make it work for massive structures. Additionally, the only reason they were changing locations was due to the data I was attempting to add. Every variable being changed would result in the results moving. Finally, no matter how fast Grimm works, it's possible for me to work faster." I looked at my hands, and focused. My symbols began to glow, and I tried to feel my way out of the Reality. I didn't want to leave, but I needed to contact someone. I reached him.
"Sir, we seem to be getting a message from Atom!" Said Syark. Syark was another Shifter who had helped against the Destruction. He was aboard a vessel known as the Infinity Matrix. He turned to his commander, who went by no other name than the Commander. "What's it read?" He asked. "It seems that he needs help. And he's hoping our on-board computer can help him." "What does he need?" "It seems that Reginas has been captured by someone." Syark began typing quickly. "I'll patch you through to his computer." A signal beam got sent.
My computer beeped with the received message. "Grimm's not the only one with surprises up his sleeves." I accepted the call, and I was greeted with the faces of both Syark and the Commander. "It's good to see you both again. I just wish it was under different circumstances." "Agreed." Said the Commander. "What is it that you need?" "I'm going to send you guys an algorithm that I need you to plug into your computer. Hopefully, your computing power plus my locationing system will allow me to pinpoint the person who took Reginas." "Understood." Said Syark. I sent them my data and my algorithm. "While we wait for the data, what's going on specifically? Who is this person, and what does he want?" "His name is Grimm." I said. "And, here's the bad news. He bears a Chaos Seed." "A what?!" Asked Syark. "But that, that's not, it shouldn't even be" "It is." I said. "He's been using it to control chaos, and he also has plans to try and turn Reginas into a Chaos Bakugan. Clate's informed me of what would happen if Grimm's experiment were to even begin." "Wait, Clate?" Asked the Commander. "Where is he?" I tapped my head. "He's in here. I'll explain later. Do you have the data?" Syark's console beeped. "Affirmative. Plugging it in now." The data began to flow onto the main computer in the Infinity Matrix. "Looks like you've got it narrowed down to two locations. Why do you need us?" "It's a Superpositioning system." I said. "It's in both locations at the same time. I need your help to further pinpoint the location." I continued typing. "Clate's attempting to link my mind Reginas's. from there, I hope to gleam some more information to try and figure out his location." "That's dangerous." Said the Commander. "Are you sure?" "It's the only way, I'm afraid." Syark continued typing. "Uh, sir, we're run into a problem." "What is it?" Asked the Commander. "It appears that Atom's algorithm doesn't encompass all dimensions within the Reality. If I readjust the parameters, and amplify the signal base." Syark's hands flew over his controls. "And rectify the feedback loop, that should." Another dimension popped up next to the other map. "Got it! Atom, you were wrong. It's not a Superpositioning system. Those two locations you pulled up are just different coordinates to get to where Grimm is. He's actually in a different dimension. I'll try to get a clearer image of where he is, but it's going to take some time. In the meantime, head to either of the locations. We'll make sure that they stay open as long as possible. I'm sending you a communicator so you can stay in touch with us while on the move." A flash of light appeared next to me, and I grabbed the device from it. "Stay safe. We know nothing about that dimension. For all we know, it could be empty space." I nodded, then gasped. "Empty space." I said. My memories quickly went back to when Grimm transported me and him. "Of course." I said. "Why didn't I think of that? Where else to hide away? The one place I wouldn't ever think of trying to infiltrate." I sighed. "Thanks for your help Syark." I looked at the Commander. "Commander, I'm going to need more help. I need a concentrated beam of order energy on me for as long as possible while I'm in that dimension. The last time I went through it, I ended up with Chaos Poisoning and a deadly leach. That order energy is going to be vital. Can you help?" "We can try." Said the Commander. "But, I don't know how long we'll be able to keep it up. We'll get to work charging it up. You need to focus on getting to one of those two locations. Got it?" "I'll leave as soon as possible. Thanks a lot!" I shut down the communications, and looked at my door. "Come on Ivan, hurry up! I need you here, now!"
"Do you think he'll be able to do what he needs?" Asked Syark. "Not a clue." The Commander grabbed a microphone for the intercom. "All engineers, listen up! We need to get this ship in proper working order so we can create a beam of concentrated order energy to keep on Atom. What are the statuses of the different sectors?" "Generators are green for go!" Said an engineer. "We can siphon energy from the weapons systems to power the beam." "Weapons control go. We're shutting down our systems to provide as much power as possible." "Energy control needs some time. We need to relocate excess energy to the order generator. If order to do so, we'll need more manpower." "Understood." Said another voice. Claip was the one who spoke. He was the main engineer of the Infinity Matrix. "I'm sending my men to you. We can patch up this hole later. Right now, we need to get these systems up and running." "Understood sir. Energy Control, we'll be there in five. Get everything prepped. We've got limited time." "On it." The Commander set down the microphone. "Now, we can only hope." He said.

"No. You aren't telling the truth. Tell me the truth please." She hold a pleading look in her eyes. "He isn't just hurting people for no reason." Two bakugan hop onto Atom's computer desk.
"Hello we are Titania and Oberon. King and Queen of the Fey. You may bow if you wish. But be careful on how you treat her. We wont be kind if you harm her boy. So now may I have your name." Goes the male one of the two. Which is Oberon.
"Please do ignore that last sentence. If you say your name you lose your freedom. I don't care what powers you are bound to. Once words hold power, and literal meanings are used. But none the lest. We wish to help. You Alice dear I do not sense lies. But I do see ignorance. Foolishness. Many many other things. While yes Grimm may have caused harm." Oberon jumps around on the keyboard pulling up just as many examples of good. Grimm ended a terrorist organization. Brought peace to three countries in middle of civil war. How nobody still knows. "Even with a goal to further himself in whatever foul plans he has. These are goods. Despite evil intent. Life isn't black and white."
"Let me help." She gets the keyboard and tapes rapidly. Once she is finish a new algorithm has been made. With multiple locations active. "Now they may not be Grimm but these are rifts. Or weak points in multiple realities. If used right we can drop ourselves off at his door step. But Something tells me we want to jump out of the side the moment we enter."
"She has a plan Titania."
Grimm sitting on a throne made an attach to the tree Atom saw last time is sitting there with multiple screens. A bakugan enters the area.
"Sir the destruct code has been placed. May I ask what is this." Ask the grunt.
"Simple. The destruct code is based on the BTS or bakugan termination system. With special modifications made the trigger" As Grimm pulls a black orb shows it off and puts back from the pocket dimension he grabbed it from. Once activate it takes the memories of the bakugan. And turns it into sand. Essentially killing the bakugan. Reginas is now my hostage. I doubt he wants Atom to know that he can die at any moment. And doesn't want him to lose another friend. So he will keep quiet when I tell him. He will or the sands of time will be waiting." Grimm informs the grunt.
"Also sir the break down of the subject is nearly complete. The turning process is also starting. It will take some time but there is almost no chance we can fail." Reports the Grunt.
"Good, and . . . " Grimm was looking at the screens when he was being told the information. On one of them he sees Alice, and Atom. "If he makes any moves on her. I'm going to rip his arms off." The malice Grimm generated can be felt so far. That Both Atom and Destruction quiver in fear. This isn't traceable for it came to fast and went away even faster. "Prepare the troops. We may have company."

I held my head from the energy outburst that I felt. I quickly looked over Alice's work, and agreed with what she said. "Okay, so the weak points between Dimensions are in those locations. Notice I said Dimensions, not Realities. There's a big difference. I won't get into specifics right now, but just keep that in mind." I looked at Titania and Oberon. "Now, I know you guys have seen good in him, but his danger still exists. Every chaotic action he does has to be taken care of. If they weren't, this entire Reality would be gone in just a week. Keep that in mind. Grimm brings chaos, no matter what else he does. I'd rather not hurt him if possible, but if it's the only way to stop his chaotic actions, then I'm willing to do what I need to do." I stood up. "I know it's not what you wanted to hear, Alice, but I'm afraid that whatever actions he does that are good are more than balanced by his actions that are bad. Bad being a loose term for causing instability beyond usual. I've faced too much to let any Reality fall to chaos and be destroyed." I walked over to my closet and grabbed something I hadn't had to use for a while. My sheath appeared on my back, and I took it off. I put on my other one, and it vanished just as my other one did. I reached into my pocket and grabbed the shield I had used before. This time, I pressed a button and it shone blue. I pressed the button again and it turned off. I slung it over my back and it vanished as well. I reached in again, and pulled out a unique item from across Realities. I put the Ocarina in my pocket. I walked over to my desk and opened the one drawer on it. I reached in, and questioned if I would need it. I grimaced, and pulled out the hand gun I owned. While I hadn't wanted to get it, I was encouraged by many people to get it, just in case. I put it in my pocket as well. To finish, I went over to my bedside table and grabbed a notebook. I pocketed it, knowing everything that was within it. I turned back to Alice. "Look, I don't know when you two got separated, nor do I know what you remember of him, but believe me when I say this may not be the Grimm you know." I looked at my door, hoping against hope for Ivan to come knocking that very second so I didn't have to talk anymore. No such luck. I sighed, and turned back to her. "If Grimm resists me taking Reginas back, I will not be afraid to use force to reclaim him. Grimm has already caused enough grief, to both me and others. I'm not letting him add killer to that list." I looked at the door again. "Come on Ivan! Where are you? You should've been here by now!" "Okay." Said Clate. "The link up's done. I'm connecting you now." "You sure Clate?" "Absolutely. Try it now." I focused on Reginas, and found myself in his mind. "Reginas!" I called. "Atom?" "Yes! It worked! Good job Clate!" "Anytime. Now, get to work quickly. I'll hold the link as long as possible. And Atom, disregard the original plan. Listening to your talk with Alice, I looked at the barrier again. Any attempt to disrupt it would not end well for anybody within it." "Original plan?" Asked Reginas. "Don't worry about it." I said. "Tell me, what can you remember of where you are?" "I'm afraid I can't." Said Reginas. "Grimm wiped my memory before I could shut it in. All I can remember of this place is that." I sighed. "Okay, we're coming to get you." I focused on the real world while maintaining the link ."As soon as Ivan gets here. Where is he?!" Reginas heard the door clang. "Atom, use my senses watch and listen." I focused on Reginas again, watching and listening to what was happening.

(What Atom hears through Reginas) "The coolant status online" goes one voice. "Protection field active." goes another. "Power siphoning of target active. Ninety percent drained." a third one speaks. "Chaos energy cycling unit online. Excess energy will be drained to chaos eaters." a fourth one goes. "Looks like the last of everything is ready. Start up the coolant system and cycling system." Goes a fifth voice. "Done sir." goes the first and fourth voices. "Good. Start up everything else. Lord Grimm wants this done before the end of the day. Preferably mind you all. This process could take a week for all I know. Begin." Goes the fifth voice. "Sir!" goes nineteen other voices.
"Atom." Alice grabs Atom's arm. "Please don't kill my brother."
"If she has a reason to cry Atom Oberon will be the least of you problems. I can sense fey energy from your ocarina. I can easily take that energy away. Meaning no magic music for you." Goes Titania.
"I will just send my hounds." Goes Oberon

I refocused on my apartment, and what they were saying. "As I said, I have no intentions of harming Grimm if at all possible. But I haven't said that I wouldn't harm him if that was the only way to save my Bakugan. Also, the Ocarina is the last resort. It's not necessarily the Ocarina itself that has the magic, it's whatever song I play." I grabbed it. "And I know several songs that will not only be useful, but also necessary if it comes down to it. This is an example of one of those songs." I put the Ocarina to my mouth, and played a few shrill notes, then began a slow, slightly dreary song. (Zelda Fans, it's the Song of Healing.) As I completed the first six notes, the rest just flowed from me, and the song completed itself. A calming sense spread through the room, restoring everybody's energy. I lowered the Ocarina, and put it away. "Also, just as I'm not willing to let Grimm add killer to his list, I'm not willing to add it to mine. If there is any other method to save my friend, I will take it before violence. I've been a practitioner of order ever since the beginning, following a strict moral code. I only fight for self defense, unless someone attempts to abuse something I care about. My Bakugan are just one example. And I'm willing to do what it takes to stop anybody from having their way irresponsibly!" I looked back at Alice. "My sword and shield are things I always carry. I don't usually take the Master Sword with me, going for a typical Traveler's Sword. But for situations like this, I don't hold back. If Grimm decides he needs to stop me by force, I will fight back. An attack is unavoidable, so I must be ready. Even if I must do what I believe is unthinkable." I placed a hand on my neck, feeling the mark of darkness. "In the end, if all else fails, I will fight chaos with chaos. I can't run from that part of me anymore. If I don't start saying it, Grimm will. He will find this battle unwinnable. If he has an army, I will call forth my own. If he has traps, I will set mine. If he uses magic, I will too. And if he uses lethal force, I will retaliate. The last thing I want is blood on my hands, or possibly the death of a fellow Shifter." My mind flashed to seeing all of my team vanishing into darkness. I paused. "Alice, Titania, Oberon, if it makes any of you feel better, I will not kill Grimm unless he attempts to kill me. That is a promise." I looked at the door, waiting for Ivan. "If he doesn't get here soon, I won't wait for him any longer." I looked back at Alice. "If he comes while I'm gone, direct him to one of the two locations my original algorithm showed, okay? Those two locations are guaranteed ways in. His name is Ivan. Tell him his code is what kind of Gene he has. I'll fight my way through if I have to, so make sure he gets there asap." I reached into my pocket again. "Grimm never should've gotten his Beta Gene. If anything, I'll have to remove it from him. He doesn't deserve it." I grabbed the communicator that was sent to me by Syark, and put it in. I thought for a moment, then went back to my closet. I reached in and pulled out a white cube. There were twelve locks on it, one on each side. "Atom, do you really think" started Leo. "If it comes down to it. We're pulling out all the stops." I went over to my Bakugan after putting the cube in my pocket, and holstered them all. "Well, this is it." Said Slight. "We fight and save Reginas, or go down." Agreed Vladitor. "Then we'd better make sure it all goes well." Said Pyreon. "Who knows what could happen inside?" Asked Janthide. "We'll never know until we go in." Said Lars Lion. "We'll succeed guys." I said. "We have to." "We're all behind you, Atom." Said Leo. "Grimm will not get away with this crime." I went to the door. "Alice, last chance for your decision. Will you come with to help, or will you just wait for me to bring Grimm back?"

Alice taps Atom's forehead. "Shhhh." She begins to hum and a golden light surrounds her. The light moves off from her, and there stands a second Alice. The speaking in unison. "Mirror mirror. You are me. Mirror mirror you are now free." The two synchronize. "You stay here and warn this Ivan." Says the original. The copy shaker her head furiously in agreement. "I go help Grimm. Okay Atom to a Grove!" She grabs Atom's hand pulls him out the door. Going to the Grove to take him to one of the locations he wanted to go. "Let's go save my brother."

I slipped my hand free from her grip. "There's an easier way." I grabbed her hand and summoned a Dimensional Gate. I knew one of the locations near one of the anomalies. I focused on that location, pulling Alice with me. "I'll do a quick explanation. This is a Shifter Ability. If Grimm were to have listened to me, he would've understood that any Shifter can do this. That Temporary Gene I gave you allows you to travel through these like any other mode of transportation. Anybody who attempts to go through without one, well, let's just say they'll get more than a little sick. And no, these are not the typical Dimensional Gates. The ones generated by Shifters a little less stable overall." We approached our destination. "Brace yourself." We exited the Dimensional Gate, and I landed on my feet. I helped Alice down, making sure she landed safely. "Okay, let's move. The distortion shouldn't be far from here." I pulled her along, making our way through the busy streets towards the outside of the city. "Don't worry Reginas, we're coming."

"Soooooooo." Starts Alice after arriving to the destination. "Other than the bad stuff my brother has done. What about good stuff. Is he eating well. Is his health doing just fine."
"The last I recall your brother was madder than a hatter we last saw him." Speaks Oberon

Elsewhere Ivan was at his home awakening from a long nap about to get the news of the immediate danger.
There I was yawning. I opened my eyes slowly and let out a long loud playful yawn. I smacked my lips together and looked at my belly.
"hmm seems I'm hungry?" I got up and marched to the kitchen. I made me a bowl of cheerios coated with a light topping of sugar. I went back to my room and began to grub. I took a few bites before looking at my phone. "I wonder what Atom's been up to its been quite a while since I seen him since I've gained my permanent gene. I picked up my phone- an Iphone 7+- and listen as it rang. "Hello?"

I turned to answer Alice when my phone rang. I pulled it out of my pocket. "One moment, Alice." I looked at the caller ID and smiled. "Finally." I answered the phone and heard Ivan's word. "Finally! Do you have any idea how long ago I called you? Actually, never mind. That's not important right now. What is important is that you get here now." I told him to coordinates. "Listen, I have something big I need to tell you, and I also need your help. I managed to track Grimm earlier, and he took Reginas. I'm in pursuit now, but I need your help to reclaim him. And the thing I need to tell you has to be in person. Can I count on you?"

As I was taking a bite of my cereal I spit it out comically! "WHAT HE TOOK REGINAS!?" "Okay okay say no more here I come."

"Thank you." I hung up, and turned to Alice. "Now, as for what you asked. Simple answer: I have no clue. He seems to be healthy, but I've never seen him without his mask, so I can't actually tell. Nor do I know what he eats or when. I can only assume he's taking are of himself, but I don't know. And yes, he's still insane. Not sure how insane compared to before, but still insane." I brought out my communicator. "Is the Order Energy ready?" "Just a few minutes left, then we'll be ready to go." Said Syark. "Got it, thanks." I turned off the communicator, and put it back in my pocket. I took out a small device from my pocket, and looked through it. In front of us was a large distortion of space-time. I put the device in front of Alice's eye so she could see the same thing. "Now, all we have to do it wait. As soon as the Order Energy is being sent, we can go in. I wonder if Ivan will get here before then."

Meanwhile a flashback occurs of this pale guy. Just this normal Joe Shmo. One you never expect stalking him while unaware. Even one time bumping into each other "by accident" with Atom all unaware that Grimm knows where he lives and his daily routine. The fact that this is a possibility crosses Atoms mind. Though he still doesn't know what Grimm looks like without his mask. Flash back end.
