Begining at the end

[Ryek Marachion]

Ryek sat in a tree in the park. He had been there for quite a while, but was unaware of how long it had actually been.A lot was on his mind, and he didnt want anybody to interupt him. The only other bieng close to him was a blue bakugan ball. The one very strange thing was that instead of having a atribute symbol on it, strange markings were peppered all over the ball.

It was the bakugan ball that first broke the silence. " are you sure we have to do this? " it said, concern in its voice over Ryeks mental condition." I dont want you to go there and be disappointed."

" it was always our goal Barracudas. Ever since we found out." Ryek responded to the bakugan. It was known as Azure Barracudas, the current evolved form of Barracudas. The bakugan had been by Ryek since the begining of his journey. No matter what, thy were a inseparable pair." Do you know something that i dont?"

" not really. Its probably changed a ton since the last time i was there." Barracudas said, hesitation clear in his voice. " well, we better go now before we regret it."

Ryek clapped his own face to wake himself up. Grabbing a branch, he swung off the branch, landing to the ground below." Lets do this."

There has not been any work for the day.
Matt just left grocery store after getting all he needed for the dinner.
While passing through the park he noticed many kids and older people run around while looking at their phones and yelling. It was a new game where everyone is running around and catching fictional characters like maniacs and getting stabbed, shot and ran over by cars.

"Peasants..." He said through his teeth not even bothering to waste much breath on so much stupidity. This is why he did not like to be outnumbered; it would make too many stupid people around him.

As he continued to walk he heard a sound coming from his left. Like someone was doing something around the trees. Another stupid person chasing fictional characters?
No, it was not.
It was some other person and from what it seemed a powerful brawler.
Matt felt like he has already seen that person, but where?
That person jumped of a tree that was in the near and thank to God he was not holding a phone and chasing electrical mouse.
Out of curiosity, Matt stopped and observed the person trying to figure out who it might be and why did Matt feel like he has already seen the person somewhere.

Ryek landed on the ground, but was forced to crouch a little bit on landing so he didnt break his knees. He went to move on, but he felt someone looking at him. He could be wrong. Either way, the only way to find out was to turn and check. He did so, and the person he found was surprisingly at least

" Matt Blade, one of the big wigs of the Silver Knights. What on earth is a big shot like you doing just walking around?" Ryek asked the powerful brawler. Ryek had heard Matts name many times, all accompanied by the Knights name." Surely you would have some sort of work going on. "

" yeah, just because we were pencil pushers doesnt mean you could be." Barracudas clarified for his brawler." One f the five has to be piled up with work to do."

Off to the side was a male whose appearance was covered thanks to the pleasant shade the trees were generous enough to provide. He was sitting on a nearby bench watching kids torment the adults with their childish antics, some Aquos Bakugan taking a leisurely swim in the fountain, and a man creeping behind another.

What happened to the common decency of confrontation? No one really knows...

He heard the start of the conversation and realized that there was an important figure among them, a Silver Knight - the position that gives all of its members the right to be extremists without any expectation of repercussion, lest someone wants to be met with a swift death.

For now, he didn't speak, but he listened. He didn't want to draw attention to himself; that also placed him under that wish as well, not wanting to think of anything as a distraction.

"Ahhh...?? I didn't know I was that important." Matt jokingly said hearing what Ryek said to him. It was the first time someone has actually recognized him outside of the uniform and outside the headquarters.

Bakugan partner he had, Aurum, rolled over his shoulder observing their new company. He was in his orb form, glowing in golden, but was actually a Bakugan of Darkus nature. Can be pretty tricky to recognize just by changing colors of a Bakugan, but Matt liked to play jokes on his opponents by doing simplest tricks like changing color, sounds and looks on his Bakugan.
In his real form Aurum looked like a real beast, but was quite relaxed.
He often interrupts Matt because his brawler often might say wrong words in the wrong time. Like is used to say to his Admiral bringing himself on thin ice.

"Ah, no work for the day. Maybe world is actually becoming better place when I don't have to run around shooting terrorists all day." He added sarcastically before asking Ryek a question. "Anyway, what are you up to?"

シラ・強風 "Ventus Streak" "Oh feathers! I really hope no one sees me half-hanging off a tree like this!" BAKUGAN Gale Vupinoid LOCATION Park (In the tree) STATUS Panicked  CURRENTLY Half dangling off the tree she was just in. NOTES ---

"Ugh... Why are kids so loud again?" "I'm not sure. Pups are like this as well. It's just that their vocalizing is more- pleasant." Shira and Gale were lingering around the park much like they did everyday. Simply enjoying the nice setting of the park, though it had gotten rather clamorous due to the children and their voices. The wolf-cyborg sat on the branch with his ringed tail hanging down. His ears were perked up on his head until the screech of a child echoed throughout the area, causing them to flatten against his head in attempts to save his acute hearing from that. Shira was closer to the base of the tree, using the trunk of it as a place to lean on and simply snooze. Once the screech of the human child had died down, Gale had his ears back on radar. What caught his eyes were a few males down below socializing it seems like. Any maybe someone else under another tree nearby? It was hard to tell with all the branches and leaves in the way. "Hey, something seems to be going on over there." The bakugan softly says as he flicks his tail on Shira's leg to catch her attention, looking in the direction where the action seems to be taking place. A sigh escapes the girl's mouth as she opens her eyes to scan what she could see of the park, bathed in the light of the evening sun. Where Gale was looking, she could see the forms of two people, one of them holding a few shopping bags while the other looks like he was accompanied by an aquos bakugan. "Well, that's an interesting sight." She says as she begins to lean to the side on the branch to get a better view of the two. Just a few seconds later she had found out she had leaned a little too much too late, and kinda... Slipped off the comfort of the tree branch and had fallen. Not to the ground though. Gale had quickly and carefully raced over to help her, gripping onto her rather durable shirt end. This caused her to have her head just poking out at the bottom of the branches and leaves. "Hey, quickly pull me back up!" Shira says in a whisper to her partner who was doing exactly that.

Matts surprise was to be expected. There were so many people in the Silver Knights, that someone like him wouldnt stand out too much. In fact, he liked that. Made what he is about to do a lot easier.

" i was just contemplating. I actually started to like things in the Silver Knights. " Ryek told his superior. That was one thing that he didnt care about. Whether they were higher up in the food chain or not, he was going to talk to them in the same manner. " Actually, the fact that you are here makes it so i dont have to worry."

" you sure that you want to tell him?" Barracudas interupted. There was some real concern in his voice.

" gotta do it. I cant just up and ... well you know." Ryek immediately responded to his worrisome bakugan. He returned his attention to Matt Blade." Im leaving, and i most likely wont be coming back. And even if i do, it wont be for a long time."

Matt finally realized that person was Ryek.
It took him a minute with all thoughts he had on his mind.
For a moment he was glad to see Ryek, but the he told Matt the news.

"Huh...?" Matt mumbled upon hearing those news.
Ryek was leaving? And from how it sounded like it must have been something serious when he said he was probably not coming back ever or in a very long time. That give Matt a minute to think, but instead of trying to figure out where would Ryek want to go, why and why wouldn't he be able to return Matt simply asked.

"...That doesn't sound very good...Where are you going? Is there anything I could do for you?" Matt asked in a concerned tone. Letting Ryek just go like that without trying to find out where he was going would be stupid. Even for Matt, who is a new version of stupid. If there really was something he could do there was no reason not to do it. He wouldn't mind.

Ryek laughed at Matts sudden concern. Its not something he was used to." Its nothing to worry about. Actually its just something that ive needed to do for a while." Ryek began to tell Matt the reasom for his departure. " it seems like you guys dont know. Well im not from Earth. I was born on a planet called Vestal. The thing is, i have no memories of the place i was born. Ive wanted to see it for a long time. Now ive found my way in."

" like Ryek said before. Hanging out with the Knights was just starting to get fun in fact, you should consider the fact that we are leaving an endorsement. "

" one of the big reasons we couldnt leave was all the chaos this planet was in. So yeah, call it a job well done."

Matt was still concerned about Ryek's well-being.
Of course, Ryek was a very powerful brawler. Most likely more powerful than Matt himself, but just letting him go into the unknown like that might turn out to be a very bad idea. After all, he said he had no memory of place where he was born. It might not turn out as he expects it and it might be even more chaotic than Earth's situation.

"Aah...so you're not from Earth..." Matt did not know this fact, but it was not his first time mistaking someone from another planet to be a human. It did surprise him, but he could not count on fingers how many times he had encountered someone and mistaken them for a human. After all, many Knights are not humans.

"You did an awesome job. Terrorist sure are gonna remember your name." Matt acknowledged. Still, he had to ask a question. "You sure you wanna go alone? I mean, we're buddies. Wouldn't hurt me to hang along and check the place out. Plus, if ya get in trouble I might be helpful..."

Ryek's not from Earth? It didn't matter. The Silver Knights had too much going on than to worry about where someone was from. The planned trip to Vestal was rather interesting.

"What do you think of that?" The one who spoke was the Haos Bakugan in his possession: Astraius. In his Regent form, he's the strongest Haos Bakugan the Silver Knights had ever known.

"I think it's very good news," he responded very discreetly. "The more of these aliens that go back home will be better for us. They won't have too much of a reason to continue hunting me...and miserably failing every time. Maria must be livid that my head isn't in her office..."

Revealing himself to be a former Silver Knight showed how pleased he was to see that Ryek was voluntarily leaving. He saw no reason to confront the two just yet. One of them was getting out, and that was better than killing them himself.

Matt seemed worried for Ryeks wellbeing. He also strangely seemed to hold him in high regards as far as the terrorists elimination." I didnt do much, if i can say so. I think people will forget about me pretty easily once i leave." Ryek offered his own oppinion. He never thought highly of himself, which did him well most of the time." You guys did most of the heavy lifting."

After saying such, Matts asking to come along on his quest was the strangest thing to him." I dont know what Admiral Maria would think about one of her biggest stars suddenly tagging along on a interplanetary voyage. I dont think it would be good though. I remember one time she sent the guy next to me to get her a snack. The poor sap had to go 100 meters. I was done with my paperwork by the time he came back." Ryek started to reminisce about the wild times at the Silver Knights HQ. " Before we go though, how bout a brawl. I gotta test out Barracudas' new power. "

Ryek was very persistent at not letting Matt come with him.
Of course, Matt was not going to force him into it. If Ryek did not want it then alright, but if there was a need of Matt being a helping hand he would not mind. Plus, knowing how much Maria was obsessed with taking care of her little sister now she wouldn't notice if Matt and Ryek were throwing grenades around her.

"That one was funny." Matt recalled the event of one of his comrades being trolled into doing errands for her Maria. He was not much different from her in wanting to have a good laugh.

"It's okay if you don't want me to hang along. As for Maria, she wouldn't notice or mind for that matter... If she can trust a Gundalian I think she'd trust me to come back in one piece." Matt replied to Ryek's statement about their Admiral.

"And as for the battle... I thought you'd never ask." He sarcastically commented accepting Ryek's challenge to battle for testing his powerful Bakugan. Aurum also accepted the challenge: "One for good old times."

"Is that a fight I hear?" Shira leaps into a different tree to get a better view, causing a number of leaves to fall due to the force. Gale followed close behind, also adding onto the number of falling leaves. "Maybe I could learn something from it." She swings her legs over the branch, "They do seem like pretty powerful brawlers." Gale noticed, but kept quiet about it for the time being, but there was another person, a brawler, that was most likely right below their feet. His partner did have a strangely short attention span.

And with that the battle was on. Or at least it was going to be. Matt ws also game to follow him to vestal, which woukd make things interesting. First thing first, they had to secure a arena." Sweet. We will brawl, then head to the teleporter I found. Its pretty far away, so it might take a couple days to get there.Lets go see if any of the brawling fields are open. I know we could probably be safe brawling wherever, but that might hurt the image. Two silver knights just throwing down in the street tends to lower credibility."

Ryek started to move towards the arenas, then decided to act on one of his suspicions. " to those who are watching us right now, id like for you to show yourself." He said out loud, hoping to snuff out any unwanted onlookers.

" people are watching us?" Barracudas whispered, a little afraid of the possibility.

" no clue. Just had a feeling that something wasnt right."
