Tristan's head jerked up when Aurum was brought down. He gave the appearance of not paying too much attention to the brawl, and that would be the case. He was disappointed, not in the power levels of the combatants in general, but for one of them not living up to their potential. As disappointing as that sounds, Tristan could tell that there was so much more that the Percival could do.

"You could look like you care," Astraius insisted. "You know, for the image and all, not like anyone is paying that much attention."

"Oh, uh...right..." Tristan gave a slow round of applause for both the winner and the loser. "Thanks for the free entertainment. You can donate as much money as you have to me for wasting my time."

A man walked towards the temple that lay before him. This man sought to, and succeeded in looking like any modern gentleman. Slicked back brown hair, a black three piece suit, and he kept a pocketwatch in the brest pocket. But his looks were the only thing normal about this situation. The temple that was his destination was a large silver structure, with four smaller spiked structures off to the four corners. The temple itself was like a pyramid with a incorrectly preportioned base.

Once he entered the place, it all was even weirder. Somehow the entire hallway was like a mirror. This thing was like a walking twilight zone episode.

Once he entered the main chamber,surrounded by the six attribute symbols, the man who called him in was visible. He sat atop a floating square seat. He was shriveled, and appeared as though he could blow away any second. He wore only a loncloth covering his lower extremities. The shadow of a man held a finger at the one who entered." Ahh...Aguilla, my most trusted servant. Do you know why he called you here?" The figure hissed.

Aguilla made sure his hair was properly slickef back before answering." I believe that it was for the plan to move forward. Shall we get the pieces moving?"

" My thoughts exactly. Make sure to tell the others, Deva will be especially pleased."

" I shall. We have set everything up perfectly. Its revival will be soon." Once he said soon, he looked upward. Instead of seeing a ceiling, a cocoon was visible. It was transparent and attached by appendages to the walls.

" yes. Remember one thing, i gave you power, so dont fail me."

" that is a impossibility, master."

Back at the arena.

Barracudas let out a roar before turning back into his ball form. He then returned to Ryek's right shoulder, floating right above it." You didnt do half bad yourself. " Ryek said in response to Matt. He didnt want to seem like a mean person, but he couldn't justify any other response." But, if you want to lead anyone, you have to be the person they can look up to. Be the strongest, and trust will follow. If not, te knights might not do so well in the future."

He tried to ignore Tristan's comment, but couldnt help himself." Maybe if i come back, i should train with you, or maybe Maria. Either way, that should quench your hunger... umm... whats your name?" He directed towards Tristan.

[Tristan Noleras]

The person who discovered Tristan's name out of the blue was now asking for it again like he forgot? That seemed too ridiculous to be real. Perhaps Ryek will figure out his background when he gets reminded of it.

"It seems your mind jumps from place-to-place very quickly, making it prone to forgetting where you previously were at times," Astraius theorized. He then wondered what Tristan would say about it. He knew there was no possibility of Tristan willingly giving his name up if he could try.

"If anything you said to me at our first encounter was any indication of what you know about me, it'll come back to you," Tristan assured. "Besides, I believe you had me confused. I don't recall mentioning that I was 'hungry' for any fights; although, if I were, the guy you fought just now would be more than disappointing for holding you back by holding back himself."

[Matt Blade]

"Whoa whoa, chill special little snowflakes...we didn't know you forgot your daily PMS pills." Aurum says to Tristan and his Bakugans being unable to listen to their constant try-hard-badass attempts. Their comments don't really bother Matt who is much better at ignoring everyone around that Aurum is. Matt isn't really bothered by his own weakness and the fact that everyone is pointing it out because he does not see the point of being strong if he has no goals that would require him to be strong anyway.
What Matt is concentrating on is what Ryek is going to do now that the fight is over; he told Matt a lot about leaving the planet once they have one final fight.

"Ah, my strength doesn't matter... I'm not a person for this whole... brawling-thing." Matt replies in a relaxed tone as he stretches his arms and legs. "I'm doing it just so Aurum doesn't go out of shape." He says once more before finishing his little stretch.

"So... what now? If you were planning to leave I'd still like to join. Not that I'll be of any big help, but there's nothing else going on. And I doubt anyone's gonna notice I'm gone."

[Allen Silva]

Matt was still intent on following Ryek to Vestal. To be honest, he wasn't surprised though. As Matt said, work has been very slow, so no one would care if he was gone for maybe a week. It was after that Ryek was worried about. Either way, he was going." I never said you couldn't. Just know that i am not coming back. Anyone tagging along has to find thier own return ticket."

For whatever reason, that reminded Ryek of something. This group was at least one short. It shouldn't bug Ryek, but he wanted to know anyway." Hey, wasnt there another person in our little party? Or am i just imagining things?"

" you cant go crazy, thats my job." Was barracudas' only response. It would be concerning, but Ryek has becone used to those antics.

[Shira]

Shira who laid on Gale's back trotted up close to the arena. "Darn it, we missed the whole brawl! Feathers!" The girl whispers rather angrily, clutching Gale's fur. The duo hides around the seats and walls in the brawling arena, brushing off any weird looks they got. If they asked what in the world they were doing, then Shira promptly responds with she was out with her dog who was dressed as a bakugan.

"Keep your voice down, they might hear..." Gale grumbles, watching the three males talk among each other. Sure they were antiquated with each other to some degree, but Shira was still doubting their goodness. In other words, she was rather shy and timid to approach them.

[Allen Silva]

While the group argued amongst eachother, six of the audience members begun to hear a voice in thier heads.

" you have been selected by me... The master. You needn't worry about winning, or losing. Fight, cultivate energy. I have given you power. Use it." the voice spoke into each of thier minds. That was accompanied by thier skin gaining purple lines across thier body.

Once they gained this new strength, thry sent out thier bakugan. Two Aquos Fear Rippers, two Aquos dragonoids, and two subterra wormquakes. These bakugan exihibited the same symptoms as thier brawlers.

[Ryek Marachion]

Ryek, still awaiting an answer, was completely caught off guard by the transformation of some brawLee's. Even worse, these people disrupted his conversation, slowing down his progress even more." Looks like we still got some work to do, eh Baracudas?" Ryek asked the bakugan.

" yeah. I had a nice warm up, and a good start, so let's rock these fools." Baracudas confirmed, winded, but ready to fight. Ryek waisted no more words before resummoning the multiatributted bakugan to the battlefield." What, no awesome prebattle words?"

" something about these guys aint right." He trailed off near the end, making it hard for anyone else to hear what he said. Ryek set up his first ability ready to start the battle." Ability activate, Vorpal Blazer. "

Baracudas launched the projectile, aiming to completely obliterate the group of Fear Rippers. It made contact, but surprisingly didn't defeat any of them." What are these guys made of, steel?"

[Matt Blade]

Matt puts Aurum's orb in a little hatch on his gauntlet.
Its purpose is restoration of Bakugan's health, which is obviously necessary considering they just had a battle against Ryek and Barracudas.
These gauntlets were invented by Silver Knights exactly for this purpose, but it cannot fix up grave wounds, so it is not absolute solution. After orb flashed Matt took it out and threw it on the battlefield. "Stand, Aurum!"

Large Percival-like Bakugan is re-summoned ready to take on new opponents that choose to intrude in the arena. "Ability activate! Shadow Chain!" Aurum raises his arms and causes a portal to open below two Aquos Dragonoids. Dark chains emerge from the portal and bind Dragonoids all over pulling them down and crashing them on the ground so they cannot resist the next attack. "Ability activate! Demon Boom!" Matt played another ability that might have a good combo against Dragonoids. One large orb appears in each of Aurum's hands. They expand and Aurum tosses them at two enemies, which causes massive dark explosions.
However, results of the combo remain unknown as two enemies remain inside a cloud of smoke.

The atmosphere was starting to feel a bit more lively now that this mysterious phenomenon has occurred right in front of them all. The two Silver Knights who took the first offensive didn't make much of a dent in them. It may be because they aren't fresh after battling each other, but there was one thing that was clear: they needed some help.

"Hmph. It's just one thing after another that wants to kill you. I'm getting tired of it." Tristan casually tossed Astraius into battle.

Astraius was known as a well-rounded Bakugan within the Knights when he was still active in the organization. They called him the "Light of Justice" for the fact that he has been a key player in removing an absurd number of high-profile criminals from the world. Being able to evolve mid-battle at any time he wants to made it even worse.

His armor consisted of gold and azure-plated coverings. Wings sprouted from his back so he could fly. He didn't have any feet, so he was always in the air.

"Ability activate! Holy Illumination!" Astraius extended his right arm and placed his palm forward. A ring of light was generated in the center. A larger ring of the same magnitude - more transparent than the latter was - was then created to rest a few inches off of his fingertips. The enemies found themselves subjected to pure light that ate their protective covering away without any sweat being created. Once it makes contact with their skin, their bodies would burn until they're consumed.

[Shira]

Shira was about to leave, there were too many brawlers here, she couldn't handle them. "Why did I even bother to get mixed in here?" She grumbles, stroking the green mane of her Ventus bakugan.h er gray eyes look around the place. Might at well take on or two of them out..." Shira says, keeping along the sidelines. This wasn't any official battle, seemed more like a rouge one? So surely aiming for the person would be okay. To make sure though, Shira had Gale go after the bakugan they commanded. After all, she did feel a bit of overkill if she sent Gale towards them.

"Gale, let's give it a whirl." She whispers. The said bakugan make a leap for one of the bakugans, she wasn't sure which one considering that there were so many, but it was one that no one had attacked yet and is the bakugan that is partnered with the person his own partner was going to take out, or at least try to.

Shira engages the person in a fist-to-fist fight as Gale does the same to their partner bakugan, both lashing out very well, but missing their shot 70% of the time.

[lisawhite]

A girl with hair hair and blue eyes looks at the battle and smile. It had been a long time since she see a good one like this. A haos bakugan jump to her shoulder and open up. It looked like a dragonoid bakugan( like dragon) he had white wings, white horn and a yellow/ white body." This looks good" he said to his partner. She nods and hold in her hand a picture of her and Dan kuso. This girl named Lisa and she is one of the top haos bakugan brawls since the old days. Next to her was a 5 year old girl with a red and white dragon toy in her hand.
" let's help him white dragon, bakugan brawl haos neon dragonoid stand" white dragon looks like a haos hilex dragonoid but not only he was a haos bakugan, a shining crystal was in the middle on his chest, his wings was folded on his back but when he open them they glow in white and silver.
She jump and land next to Tristan. " mind if I join the battle?" White dragon land next to the other bakugan and let out a roar.

[Scarecrow]

While Shira missed her shots with the brawler she was currently trying to beat up, the others saw this as a opportunity to attack. The group's each prepared their own abilities to fight back. The fear rippers all utilized the G power boost ability, giving them a moderate boost to their power levels. Unfortunately, as they are mindless puppets, they made the mistake of not fully increasing their power with its effect. Even so, the duo went in to attack both Astraius and Barracudas.

The wormquakes didnt take the same approach. They instead used the antithesis of G power boost, G power burst. The effect of this card weakened the power of their targets by the same amount as a g power boost would increase it. Once again, they didn't do the smart thing and max out the decreasing power. They did just enough to be presumably in the lead, digging underground to attack Neon Dragonoid and Aurum.

That only left Lupinoid to cover the two Dragonoids. Unlike thier compatriots the Dragonoids actually made a smart move. Instead of playing a offensive ability, between dodges, one of the Dragonoid bralwers utilized Dive to get his bakugan out of Lupinoids attack. Then, after reapearring, they activated aquos chain. This dramatically boosted their power. Then, they took thier their chance to charge at Shira.

Meanwhile, in the stands,

A strangely dressed man had beenn seated for the entire spectacle. He wasn't the only one, as to avoid suspicion. His attire was also more tame then ussual, wearing only a long black coat with ripped sleaves, red cargo shorts, and a pair of shades. His hair was doing whatever it wanted to do, currently draped over his green eyes. A subterra bakugan sat in his hand, also spectating the fun.

" these guys aren't worth it, are they. I don't know why I have to be the one to chip away at them, and maybe get some entertainment if they don't lose first. This is a load of bull..."

"You do know how the Master feels about that mouth of yours." Aguilla intervened. He had just arrived after his own riveting conversation with the being known only to them as the Master." Well I bring good news for you then. He has given us orders to move forward. So if these peons aren't worth the time, then you take care of them. Just remember, we have a time frame to keep up, so don't take too long. I'm off to tell the others."

And on that note, Aguilla left. This whole conversation only warranted a scoff from the brawler sitting down, before he returned to his entertainment. But now, call it a appetizer. He was ready for the main course." It's about time." He muttered, licking his lips.

[Ryek Marachion]

This battle was proving to be a exciting one for what it's worth. Of course a second ability would be the fear rippers demise. But still, they were much stronger than what they should be. How could a Fear ripper, a gimme bakugan any little boy could pick up at a million places survive Vorpal Blazer.

A new bakugan had also entered the fray, this one looked similar to the enemy, but was clearly on the winning side of this brawl. " Hold on. Is that a Neo Dragonoid? And it's helping us." Risk was confused beyond thoughts. He couldn't shake the fact that something felt weird about their new ally. He took it on himself to adress the person himself." Hey, new kid. You and Your Neo Dragonoid there had better look out. These guys aren't messing around."

While Ryek was killing suspicion, Barracudas was dodging the attacks of his sparring partner, trying not to get caught looking. A weak ability like that won't beat him, only wound him a little bit and his pride a ton. " Ryek buddy, I need a new ability. Can I get that yesterday."

" oh balls." Was all Ryek could muster as he fished through his cards for a appropriate ability to finish off Fear ripper." Sorry about that. Ability activate, Dragon Sword: Flame Kerdia."

Runes on Barracudas' arm flowed as it ignited in flame. With one downward slash, the Dextra bakugan silenced his opponent, turning it back into ball form." Youre not making sushi outta me numbnuts." Barracudas decided to whip out a cheesy one liner as he turned to a ball himself. After floating back to Ryeks shoulder, he started to wonder." Those bakugan are strange. I hope they got this."

" course they do. At least, Tristan has to win."
