Helios contained the ball of fire in his hands as it corroded on his body. Neither him or Damian were too concerned about it killing anything, but they knew it was the first attack Dante declared that could actually affect him in his Second Layer. That's when they realized that it didn't really matter how Dante fought since his arsenal gives him safe coverage against all opponents, even if the opponent is stronger than him.
"I just...need to hit you...one more time..." Helios grunted. He could tell that he could potentially knock Dante out if he makes contact with him again since the last hit had to be detrimental. The barrier going down had to be on their minds. If it wasn't, then they're mental strength must be a godsend, like he was a master brawler or something.
"Helios..." Damian didn't want to do this, but seeing that his patience has tipped over from a combination of Dante's resilience to Alex's banter about who he is or isn't, he wasn't very caring about the information anymore. All he cared about now was making Alex pay, even if it was death that had to be served. Helios looked back at him and saw that Damian was signalling him by putting up three fingers. "One hit...get it done."
Helios's form glowed in a scarlet light. "I won't be needing this anymore. You can have it back." He easily stood up, held the sphere up in the palm of his right hand, and tossed it right back at Dante. The transition to the Third Layer was very different from how it happens with the Second; atmospheric destabilization, sudden rise in temperature, and an entry hazard paved the way for this. The best description Damian would ever give without spoiling his entire arsenal is that the Third Layer makes the battle arena his own personal sun.
Even before the transitioned finished, the glowing Helios rushed towards Dante as if he were a lightning bolt. The movement seemed instantaneous to where no one could see him coming...no one.

Two fists burrowed out of the ground and got in between Dante and Helios. One of them produced a force so powerful that the fireball just collapsed into itself. Right before the collision could occur that can potentially kill one of them, an ability was used to stop it all from happening.
"G-Factor!" This is Tec's most powerful ability that he usually keeps under wraps, but seeing Helios transitioning into the Third Layer gave him more than enough of a reason to use it. Their bracelets cycled to produce gravitational force. That is to say that he can freely manipulate the force to his own liking. This is what was used to keep both Dante and Helios from making contact with each other and froze the two in place.
"If it's not the one in the mask you're killing, than neither of you will be killing anyone," Jamal asserted. He was on Tec's shoulder as the Bakugan descended down to the ground, having come from the south.
"Stay where I can see you. We'll be dealing with you shortly," Tec instructed to Helios. He positioned the fist that held Helios towards the ground and forcibly pushed him into the ground, reverting him back into his Second Layer form. He then used that hand to provide more coverage on Dante so he'd have double the force acting against the Silver Knight.
"I'm disappointed that we couldn't work together on this issue, especially from Damian. You though...the Silver Knight...you should know better." Jamal watched as Tec's hands got closer to increase the gravitational pressure being placed on Dante from both sides, intending to use this as a torture mechanism. "We're in a dire situation right now, so I'm not going to go back and forth with you. All I want you to do now is tell me whether this'll be a ceasefire or a warzone. What will it be?"
Jamal was implying that he could convince the authorities on Vestal to declare war if any of the Spartans were attacked maliciously since they were the queen's property when it came to defense, so attacking a single Spartan was a very serious offense regardless of what the circumstances were. All that was left now was for Alex to answer everyone else's fate for them.

Listen to howl of our souls Now another one of those Spartan appeared out of nowhere to help the first one cause trouble. "Tch...this reminds me of that freak-show in No Man's Land..." Alex said silently in irritation recalling fighting two Bakugans; Drago and Gladion. He knew he would have to use his power-ups sooner or later considering there were two enemies one; one was threatening enough and now he got reinforcements as well.
Alex did not find Jamal's statement about war funny. "War...? You're threatening us with war?" Alex asked rhetorically not knowing what to say after hearing something so ironical. "So, a Spartan launches an attack on our Headquarters, claims he can kill anyone he likes and he doesn't need a reason. And then all of a sudden...Spartans are victims in this?" Alex said in a silent tone after looking at the situation. Damian was the one who pulled the trigger first and now Jamal was trying to safely get them out of trouble by offering 'ceasefire'.
"War has been declared the very moment his flames reached here. Since the day you've made contact with humanity our superiors were inspecting your actions and plotting your fall. However, we could not make any drastic moves since our government likes you and your Battle Suits. However, now..." Alex stopped there for a second and smiled.
"...now...That you attacked us, we have every right to strike back. And you bet we're gonna use that right to our hearts' content. You've brought this upon yourself and now try to run with a lame excuse... You want a war? You've got yourselves one." Alex finished stating his decision on the matter loud and clear. Even if he said something else it would not matter; Spartan attacked Silver Knights and they do take threats like that very seriously. Last one who attacked the HQ like that was Infernal Order and they got buried deep in the ground.

Jamal completely understood where Alex was coming from. He didn't want it to be that way, but it was already too late. He couldn't understand how this could've happened, why Damian would come to one of the places in the United States that should never be attacked and attack them. He defied Dasia to find a solution, not to create a whole new array of problems for Vestal. Then he really thought about it for a moment. They came to Earth to find the masked person, which could only mean one thing...
"No. I think we became enemies long before Damian approached you," Jamal disagreed. "This person we're looking for resides on this planet. Our people, our property, our cities...wasted by this single person, and he or she walks among you in the shadows, using people like you as a diversion to what the real enemy is. So if we're really going to speak in your terms, I have every right to strike just as you say you have the right to strike us."
Tec moved his hands closer to literally begin crushing Dante under the gravitational pressure the angrier Jamal was getting. "I think it's very noble what you and your organization do, but even you won't stand in our way of tracking this guy down. I won't allow it."

Listen to howl of our souls Spartan was still not giving up with his stubborn attitude and it was obvious this conversation would just end up in more fighting over nothing. It was not the first time Alex saw this kind of behavior. In fact, one of his former adversaries and current allies, Jason Sylvester, was exactly like this before he became a Silver Knight. His family, friends and everyone were killed by a terrorist organization and he wanted to take revenge so badly that he foolishly ignored collateral damage he caused to those who were innocent.
"You're running out of excuses pretty early. Person who did that is not affiliated with us anyhow and yet you find the fact he is on Earth as a reason to kill innocents and attack us out of the blue. Lame..." Alex said in annoyance. That also reminded him of certain people who generalized the hatred. This reminded him of Gundalians; just because a few of them did evil everyone immediately started pointing fingers at Noland. Even if he hadn't caused such wreck it would result in the same hatred.
"...You're saying that as an excuse, but what if it was the other way around? What if that masked person destroyed our cities, hid on your planet and then we came to your planet to wreck YOU for his actions? Oh, I bet you'd be all over our case saying same things I say now...." Alex annoyingly added. People like this really annoyed him. At least Jason could be reasoned with logically while these two only looked for reason to cause trouble and would use an entire arsenal of words just to prove themselves right.

Jamal laughed at the thought of what he said being a silly excuse. He knew it wasn't. He knew that Alex knew what he was talking about.
"I don't think I'd say every single thing you're saying. You're leaving one part out, you know, assuming we don't say no when you ask us who or where this person is when we tell you we know something about it." It sounded like Jamal knew what was going on even though it appeared he had just shown up. "I think even you know how pointless this fight is right now. The only thing you had to do to get us to leave was to give us the info, but you chose not to do that."
"We don't agree with how this all played out. In that regard, you're absolutely correct to turn your attention to Damian," Tec added.
"That doesn't mean I can let you get away with that though. Like it or not, that's my friend, my brother. I'm not letting you kill him nor will I accept you hiding information about someone that should've been killed a while ago. So if you're intent on staying quiet, then I'll have no choice but to shut you up permanently, whether it's here or on the battlefield elsewhere."

Listen to howl of our souls "You're fairly mistaken about that. In normal circumstances I'd have no problem giving you the info." Alex said. Why he did not want to give information was pretty obvious. "And by normal circumstances I mean you coming here and simply asking me the question. But instead of that it was pretty much your pyro-friend sending his fireworks at us first and then he came to ask questions." Alex continued.
"Such actions lead me to believe you're a bigger threat than that masked person you've been blabbing about. Now, why would I give information to someone who claims he kills because he can? Why would I give information to someone who supports that kind of person?" Alex asked and was now rather curious than annoyed. Those two buggers really were annoying with their constant threats, but at least they were giving Alex some time to laugh inside his head since it would be inappropriate to start doing it outside of his head no matter the situation.
"You're gonna need more than those threats, boy." Dante replied to Jamal's threat that they would 'permanently shut them up'. Dante did have a nasty fight with Helios, but it was not the worst fight in his life. If he could last against opponents like that Lyonel's Phoenix he was sure he could still last against two Bakugans a bit more before going into any drastic measures. It was just a matter of time when those two powers would bring him to that decision.

It must have been rotten luck for a dimensional portal to have spawned where no one else wanted to be: the Silver Knights HQ. Out came a Hades who had suffered a hard ramming. It kept its footing along the ground it scratched with its metallic claws. As for the masked person, he/she was fortunate enough to have been able to roll over on the ground, lest he hit his head on the stupidity that was going on in front of him/her.
Now that he/she thinks about it...why here of all places?
"Oh...oh shit..." Seeing Damian and Jamal was all he/she needed to see to know that getting out of there was the best idea, especially since the Andersen kid was back in action again... "You just keep doing what you're doing. I wasn't here."
He/she boarded Hades quickly and jetted off elsewhere, not trying to get caught up in their debacle.

To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure
Maria observed the battle between Alex and Damian from the rooftops and did not intend to move or aid Alex even after Jamal joined in believing that Alex should weaken two of them first before she sent entire Mighty 5 against those two Spartans or having a good time beating them herself. However, her plans suddenly changed after that person with mechanical Hydranoid came out of nowhere and then ran away on Hades after seeing Damian, Jamal and Alex. Well, there was no need to look for him at least.
"Oh, my... " Maria said and then tossed a Bakugan orb in the air. Orb flashed in black and white colors that were mixing together and revealing another large Hydranoid. This one looked like an Alpha Hydranoid, but her body was different in some way. Her spikes looked quite sharper and entire appearance looked more threatening. Her body was dark purple mixing with lots of white decorations that were showing the presence of Haos attribute as well as the Darkus one. It was Maria's Guardian, Zero Hydranoid. Title 'zero' was gained by what happens to opponents after she starts attacking.
Hydranoid picked Maria up and then spread magnificent dark-purple wings that were as fast as jets when it came to a real chase. "After your ugly twin we go." Maria said and Hydranoid just acknowledged with a powerful boost in movement as she started chasing Hades as some hunted animal in preparation to devour it whole.

The good news: Alex, Damian, and Jamal were not pursuing him/her as an attempt was made to get as far away from them as possible without knowing if the Silver Knights were going to get him/her too. The bad news: an Admiral was right on his/her tail. They are the last people that should be encountered.
The Hydranoid she was using turned out to be fast, quick enough to keep up with Hades. He/she could just put some extra power on the thrusters, but there was something better that could happen right now than to combat her, that's if she didn't maim him/her if Maria knew what happened when Alex tried to impede progress like he always seems to do. Hades actually slowed up just to get within arms reach of Maria's Hydranoid, then the masked person performed his/her magic. Hades was blessed with dark power, and it evaded the Hydranoid's charge by using its tail to push it forward as Hades pushed itself away.
When that was said and done, the masked person made his/her move.
"Okay, now that we're both settled down on the ground, I have something I need to share with you about those Spartans, that's if you'll let this be a civil encounter."

Maria did not intend to fight the masked person at all unless they gave her enough reason to do so. It did not appear that the masked person was having any intentions of attacking either...yet. Instead of making a move he simply asked Maria if she would listen to what he had to say about Spartans. Spartans referred to this person as a murderer who killed their people and destroyed their cities. If a single person was able to do that then they surely were powerful and to be feared and most would shoot on sight.
However, Maria was not blind not to notice how Spartans were behaving themselves. They were plotting a revenge against someone while killing innocent people in the process and then they wondered why Alex wanted to bring them down. In any way, Maria settled down since neither side had any reason (yet) to attack and she agreed to listen to the masked person. "Alright, I'm all ears..." She said leaning against one of Hydranoid's heads.

"Good. I'll try to be quick while the leaders are still on this planet." He/she really wanted to go fast, but not too fast. If there was a shot at killing Damian and Jamal without the Silver Knights gunning for him/her, he/she was going to take that without a doubt.
"The Spartans didn't contest the Resistors for everyone's entertainment. They were doing it to record their battle data. All of it registered on their BakuMeters. The Prince then took that information and used it as a basis for his series of mechanical Bakugan. One of them is the one I stole from them, Hades - built to be a superior force by combining the heavy firepower of Alana's Alpha Hydranoid and the durability of Jamal's Vulcan, resulting in what you see in front of you. Why is this a bad thing? Because...it's not just me running around in a mask. There's someone else. Not only is she allied with Vestal, but she is infected with Hurranians. What this means is that the Hurranians can manipulate this machinery if they get their claws on them, which is curtains for you, me, this entire planet."
As for what was wrong with those Spartans in particular... "Hades is a weapon capable of destroying this world, and they now have the Spartans as their defenders since it's a special interest of the Prince and likely the Queen as well. They already built two more after Hades, and it's only going to get worse. They have an orbital Bakugan now that can fire from space. Once the Hurranians jack that, it'll be right in your orbit. Guess what's going to happen when Noland and Damian's Bakugan comes out..."

"Hmph..." Maria was processing all this person had to say and it didn't sound good to her. Not at all. If someone was to use such weaponry this person spoke of then there would be countless deaths regardless if all Earth's warring organizations would come together to protect the Earth. "Well, you've certainly caught my interest..." Maria replied still thinking about what the person said. It was an interesting piece of technology; mixing data from Bakugans and use it to create a superweapon that could end fate of entire humanity. Interesting, but lethal as well.
"Mind if I ask this? What to they get from attacking this planet?" Maria inquired. Surely, there had to be some motive. Her guess was to kill humanity, so they could populate Earth, steal its resources and perhaps even populate the planet with their people. And since there was another person with a mask that could probably pull stunts like those it was dangerous to take this lightly.

"They'll get everything that they shouldn't have. Food, knowledge, numbers...power..." he/she answered. "There are a combination of problems that need to be addressed here that'll show you why I've been doing this. One is the fact that they're battling us. You can do whatever you want against the Hurranians and say how you're beating them every time they pop up. That's all going to stop soon because we're feeding them knowledge on how we battle. They're going to take those experiences and adapt them to their fighting style, which not only makes it more difficult for us to fight, but then we'd have to worry about what Bakugan they're using to employ this strategy with, which leads me to problem number two: assimilation."
He/she was hoping Maria was understanding where he was going with the assimilation part. She had to have seen this all the time in Hurranian-related accidents, so she had to know. "There are people willingly accepting these bastards into their systems to act as a performance enhancer. This contributes to the ones who are unfortunate enough to be infected. While we're worried about people dying of this cancer, the Hurranians are sucking all of their information out and dispersing it between themselves. That's why they have Dharak now. All they need is sufficient DNA samples, and they'll be able to create that Bakugan as many times as they want to within their power."
"Problem number three: their minds are connected. It's one big computer. If one sees something, so does everyone else. They transmit information on a godly level, which finally culminates into problem number four: whenever they feel like they've gotten enough out of us is when we're hosed. I'll bet everything on that final mechanical Bakugan that they're going to take that over and wipe us out. Why? Because they'll then be able to steal our bodies, assimilate this entire planet, and then look out for other worlds. Gundalia is one. Heck. I'm sure wherever some of these Knights hail from can be targeted to."

To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure
Maria started getting more curious about these issues. First issue indeed was what troubled her because they could just keep bringing more and more powerful machines from every fight; so even if one machine is defeated battle against that machine becomes data for the next machine. It could go all the way without stopping.
"And we fell right into it, didn't we?" Maria said in disappointed tone knowing how hard Knights were against Hurranians, Battle Suits and everything that came with it and then presidents just ignored of all that and accepted all those 'gifts'. "Governments didn't bother much with the research. Humans are so naive..." She sighed now that this masked man actually proved one of her greatest fears and assumptions of what these Hurranians might be. It went exactly how she predicted; down the drain.
"So, even if we dispose of one machine they will just use data to make a stronger one. That could go infinitely until they have more power in one Bakugan than we have in our entire army. And since they're already among us everything we might plan against them could go down the drain if only one of them learns something about it." She concluded. This was a major problem. Since they basically had a network in their minds it would take one Hurranian to ruin an entire plan that could go against them. It was a wise decision to keep Hurranians and their Battle Suits away from the HQ and archives; if they went inside there they could have found out all secrets that were never meant to go outside.
"And we would need to strike first before they decide to get rid of us. Do you have any idea on how to fight them, then?" Maria inquired. This person turned out to be useful after all. Another good reason for Knights for disposing of Hurranians and the trash they are bringing in. However, she was still hoping that there was a fighting chance since that combination of problems would naturally be impossible to match. And plus, what if they decided to attack Advent...
