Damian and Helios watched Jamal and Tec depart from them and leave them at the one place they didn't want to be. Whatever Jamal was thinking would happen if he went in there was very different from what Damian knew was going to happen. He ultimately chose to enter the town anyway, having nothing better to do out in these badlands.
"Helios...let's go," Damian instructed. "It's just you and I, like it was always meant to be."
"We could just not go in there and deal with their shit today," Helios pointed out. He knew just as well as Damian that going there was a terrible idea. It can be said that his strong feelings for avoiding the place was stronger than Damian's.
"Consider this a social experiment. If what Jamal said was true, I can go in here and actually be considered their son. If not, then I'm bringing this whole thing down, and I'm going to make sure that whiny bitch hears about it too." Helios returned to ball form and into Damian's possession - safely in his pocket. Damian takes a deep breath before taking his walk into the town entrance.

It was back at the Mother Palace where work on the next mechanical Bakugan had already finished. This one was made in case someone like the masked man would come there and actually succeed in destroying one of their mechanical Bakugan. They needed something that could not only heal, but completely rebuild a creation in the worst case scenario. Zero corners were cut in this creation, both in its healing factor and battle potential.
With that being said, it was performing maintenance on both Macubass and Slipstream who had just returned to the planet for a tuneup.
"This was a smart pitch on your part. Very well done," Xavier acknowledged, implying that it was the head scientist's idea to create this Bakugan.
"Thank you, sir," he accepted. "There is something I'd like to point out though that you may not have known before."
"Okay. What's that?"
"This Bakugan, the one we call Boriates, had some...unexpected help. Tracy's data was indeed helpful here, but the other ones we used came from Alana."
"Other 'ones?' So you mean you added two more Bakugan's data into it?"
"Yes. Mystic Elico and Gallant Siege, sir."
"Wait, what? That's impossible. I thought we only had data on Hydranoid. How did those two get in?"
"Yita retrieved Elico's battle data from the BBBA's archives. As for Siege, that was as easy as watching it while we were taking care of it."
"So we're working with a Bakugan who has the diverse battling capabilities of two Bakugan with attribute changes and has the top notch healing of a cleric?"
"Certainly, sir. Its weapon systems adapts to the change in attribute. Here. Let me show you what happens in its normal, Haos form. It's got a railgun."
Boriates unveiled this said railgun within the gauntlets on the left arm. These gauntlets housed his weapons, the right carrying a lighter set than the left that consisted of primarily heavy-duty weaponry.
"Now it'll change into a flamethrower if it changes to Pyrus." Boriates did this, and the barrel twisted around until its length shrunk until it was nearly back inside the gauntlets. The barrel suddenly became wider and protruded back out. It briefly activated the flamethrower to show that it had those capabilities.
"I also forgot to mention that it can act as our field marshal." On its own, Boriates sent Macubass back into the waters and Slipstream back into space. This was done through mechanical communication, one sending code to another to get them to perform a function. This suggested that Boriates could command the other mechanical Bakugan in any way it saw fit, making it the most important Bakugan made so far.
"You just earned yourself the raise you've been asking for," Xavier approved.
"But that wasn't all I wanted. I thought you were going to let me take the Queen out to-" "That's out of my hands, dude. You should've gotten her to say yes if you wanted to do that so bad."
"Oh...right...I forgot about that. I thought taking the day off would hide the shame, but...you had to remind me..."
