He/she nodded in excitement that Maria was getting the memo very clearly. She proved to be very reasonable. Her curiosity of the matter was appreciated, but he/she couldn't say any thing else about it to a deeper level other than what he knows can destroy them, at least not where they are now.
"There is a certain weapon that is capable of wiping them out completely," he/she answered. "That's all I'm willing to say out here so that a nearby Hurranian doesn't hear anything else I know. Be mindful that the weapon I'm speaking of is your one and only option to survive. You know neither the day or the hour when they'll come full force, and while we're here messing around with these humans and Spartans, there's a mechanical army being built on Vestal right now, and as long as they have that planetary defense system active, I can't touch them regardless of how powerful I am right now."
The masked person turned his/her attention to Damian and Jamal who needed to be dealt with in a timely manner. "In order for this to work out, something grievous needs to happen to those two, and you also need to find the girls. Your guards were asleep, and Noland's girlfriend is nowhere to be found. You did notice that, right?"

"Understandable. I wouldn't want the plan to be ruined before it even started." Maria replied being mindful about it knowing she could not just talk wherever about such a sensitive and dangerous topic. If there was a weapon that could take care of the problem without Maria involving their own secret weapons it would be an ideal solution since lives of many people and Bakugans were at stake.
Masked person reminded Maria of Resistors' disappearance. She was well aware of what happened; Resistors were teleported something very far. Considering radars could not sense their presence, but only little traces that would be the only explanation. "Yes, I'm aware. We are doing all we can to find them. " Maria replied and then turned the topic towards two Spartans. "As for them, I already had something in store. If they think there won't be consequences of their attack earlier then I will have to disappoint them."
"Hmm...And what is your motive for helping humans? No offense for asking. Most strangers would either mind their own business or try to exploit the situation. It's not that I don't trust you, just personal curiosity." Maria said. She was asking because she saw from experience that most would just either mind their own business not to get caught in battle or try to exploit and then run anyway. And this person seemed to be knowing a lot which was probably a great fear to Hurranians who could lose all their plans because of him/her.
"I answer terror with terror."

This would be the second woman who asked about the masked person's motives. He/she didn't see why it was that important right now. They're being given all of this information and they still want to know why he/she is there. It was a bit obnoxious, but that is to be expected. Only in a world where things were black and white is where that could be avoided altogether.
"There isn't a motive for helping humans despite me indirectly doing so by you being the second person to hear this from me, the first being the CIA director. The only motive I'd like to share is survival. There is no running in the other direction hoping that someone else will pick up the slack. I was a target before I massacred them, and I'll damn well be a target after. The Hurranians will take you any way they can. That's enough of a reason for me to curb their arms development before they become invincible."
Hades locked onto Helios and Vulcan in order to eliminate two of the strongest brawlers they'll ever have. "Good talk, but I require for them to be eliminated now. I'd shoot them, but my method of eliminating them will also cost you your organization since Helios destroyed your barrier. Vulcan needs to be shot in the back as a distraction. You're not hitting him with that ability active, and I should know. Hades has his power..."

"Okay, then." Maria replied to what mysterious person had to say about himself and his motives. She assumed something like that would be it. It was only for her personal curiosity, but if Hurranians were like one big system she would gladly break that system down since bringing and accepting an entire race without questioning is a stupid mistake humans did.
"That...can be arranged. Shall we give it a go?" Maria asked Zero Hydranoid after masked person said that they needed to hit Vulcan to get rid of his nasty invincibility effect. She did not mind getting rid of two Spartans one way or another as long as they were removed. Regardless of what Alex told them or what they did it was obvious they were going to cause trouble later. People who can talk about killing another person so easily. "Ready when you are." Hydranoid replied and turned towards the battlefield and targeted at Vulcan.
Maria was one of few brawlers who did not bother to use gauntlets. She was quite fast at using abilities just by holding them. She took an ability card from her pocket and spoke its name. "Dark Head, activate!" It was a Normal ability that served purpose for silent attacks from long distances. Hydranoid's eyes started glowing and she pointed her finer towards Vulcan firing a single little bullet from that finger. It went quickly towards Vulcan and when it got close it exploded transforming into a dark glowing Hydranoid head that resembled Zero Hydranoid's heads. Head opened its jaws and sunk its teeth into Vulcan devouring his invincibility effect and then exploding with an immense amount of power. If that was not enough explosion caused head to scatter like shrapnel-storm which additionally stabbed Vulcan all over his back to do some extra damage and infuse his body with venom. "Nice job, Hydra..." Maria complimented after seeing such a 'beautiful performance'. "That good?" Maria jokingly asked masked person after devastating Vulcan's defensive ability.

Whether or not Maria wanted an honest answer, the masked person was going to give her one. "All that was left for you to do was to nullify it permanently. Now we need to be quick," he/she answered. It was quite impressive that Maria was able to temporarily negate the ability. Now all they needed to do was to defeat Vulcan before it recharged, putting them in the same situation as before.
"Ability activate! S.H.R.E.D.D.E.R!" Hades opened his canister to release the multitude of miniature heads. The trick here that Hades already displayed was that they can use some of its abilities. This was their trump card.
"Two more will do. Double ability activate! Spatial Transmission plus Soul Taker!" Hades opened its central mouth to conjure a dimensional portal. The exit would be directly above Alex, Damian, and Jamal. The autonomous units were on their way inside, and they appeared on their turf. After they poured in, they surrounded Helios and Vulcan from afar. A smoke-like substance left their bodies and were taken into the units, which then transferred into Hades. Hades then attached a few of them to Dante, sharing some of the Spartan's power with him. This was also done to slow the recharge time for Vulcan's G-Factor and to make sure Helios did not have the strength to go into the forbidden Third Layer.
"It's on him. I've done my part."

Listen to howl of our souls "What is this power?" Dante asked in surprise as his body was enhanced with additional power. That was quite an amount. He did not know how to react to that at that moment, but then he snapped out of it seeing that both Helios and Vulcan were confused as well. "Well ain't that unfortunate?" Dante said in a silent and threatening tone. Since he has power he might as well use it against two enemies.
Alex took 3 ability cards this time to see how they would work with this power they received. Dante'a abilities usually vary depending on what power he carries or what role he plays. "I don't know, but you know what they taught us. Never waste gifts, so let's have some fun with it." Alex said and inserted all 3 abilities one by one.
"Holy Gram Pierce plus Holy Aegis Force!" Alex said activating two Normal abilities first. Dante's body was surrounded with holy energy now as well giving him additional boost along with the boost he gained from Hades. He charged towards Vulcan first piercing him with his holy lance that caused painful energy bursts on Vulcan's body and then Dante made a powerful thrust sending Vulcan into the sky. Vulcan landed directly on Helios crushing his ally with massive body. After that happened Dante pointed his shield towards both of them and launched a massive blast of holy golden flames that produced a massive golden pillar upon hitting two enemies. "Special Ability, activate! Dragon Sky Wings!"
Dante's lance and shield disappeared and he rose his hands towards the sky. Energy that was produced by this special ability created an unusual shape in the sky. It was a large red dragon made entirely of red holy flames. Dante pointed towards Helios and Vulcan. Dragon then charged into those two and exploded on impact creating a massive pillar of red and golden flames throwing Helios and Vulcan around like they were tennis balls. Alex was surprised by this power. Normally, this type of attack would not do this much damage, but it appeared it had a huge amount of power packing inside.

"And he is complaining when I go overboard." Maria said to herself remembering all times when Alex complained how she would go overboard with her attacks against some enemies. Well, she could at least bug him later for going overboard. She was impressed that he could do that much with that Red Dragon combo which was specially devised to fight two opponents at once. Normally that combo should not be able to push anyone around, but this time it was just massive. "What is it? You scared he's gonna be able to beat you now?" Zero Hydranoid sarcastically asked knowing how many times Maria wiped the floor with Alex. "Shut up..." Maria said silently in annoyance.
"I might be wrong, but it looks like that's that." She said with a sigh. She was a bit disappointed. All she managed to do was to break Vulcan's defense and everything else was doing of this person and Alex. She seriously wanted to torture two Spartans with Hydranoid. "Hmm...I guess we're done here then." Maria said silently while looking at the damage caused by Spartans. "Who's gonna pay for this...?" She thought to herself in annoyance.

When Maria assumed that Alex's attack disintegrated the Spartans, Hades shook its head after performing an analysis on the situation. Something happened.
"They...survived..." he/she disappointingly announced. "Hades just detected a dimensional spike. They must have transported themselves out of here before they could be destroyed. I'd chase after them, but I've already taxed the power on Hades's transporter, and their defense system will likely finish me off this time if I went back. There's nothing more any of us can do about them now until they decide to return. For the time being, you have won."
He/she observed the careless damage that Damian and Helios had done. The grounds were littered with fire that still ran at full power. "What shall you do now, Miss...?"

Maria was disappointed that two of them escaped. Cowardly attack out of nowhere at first and then cowardly escape at second. Those two Spartans were quite annoying enemies; blabbing about power and how mighty they are and then running with tails between their legs. And Zero Hydranoid was disappointed a lot; she so wanted to have a snack, but Helios and Vulcan escaped.
"The bigger the talk, the weaker the man." Maria concluded referring to Damian and Jamal who were giving quite the threats, but did not even come close to facing stronger Knights than Alex. And they lost so easily after being caught off guard. If that was all it took to beat them then that whole battle should not have been fought for so long.
When asked by the masked person of what was she going to do she knew that they needed to deal with one issue at the time. One issue now was that Resistors were gone, second issue was that there was a whole race of parasites just waiting to end humanity and they were quite good at their job. Third issue was pretty hurtful; since Hurranians were among humans any plan that might be devised and brought to presidents or anywhere near could be thrown down the drain if there was only one Hurranian present.
"There are many things to do. Resistors, Hurranians, new possible attacks from Spartans, information you shared..." She replied in annoyance that there was so much work to do now seeing and hearing all this. "I will need to hear more information about the weapon you told me about. Hurranians are prohibited in our Headquarters, so if you are willing to take it as a shelter from them I could arrange something. We need to learn before they can make a drastic move. " Maria proposed and then looked at the battlefield again with annoyance. "Other than that I have to inform Marshal and the rest about all this..."

He/she listened to all of what Maria had to say. The proceedings were clear. He/she wasn't sure what she was talking about when she said Resistors, but it was none of his/her business. There was bound to be some talk about it in the near future anyway, so that'd be a good time to figure out all of what's going on here.
"The bigger the talk, the weaker the man, huh?" he/she thought. "Is that really why..."
They could think whatever they want to about Damian and Jamal, but he/she knew that they were guilty of the same, thinking that they couldn't have done any better than what they had shown today. The power Damian displayed should've alarmed them at least. They still had something to say though, so maybe there was something he/she wasn't understanding.
"It's a deal," he/she accepted.

Jamal was looking at the nearby town they arrived at: Charlie Town, his and Damian's home, that's if Damian wants it to be anymore. He chose this destination on purpose after narrowly escaping the Silver Knights. There was something that he had enough of, and he needed to do something about it.
With Damian and Helios in tow, Jamal began discussing what they just went through and what was going to happen from there. They were all in stable condition. They may have been a bit shaken up, but all of them were definitely fine. Tec was the only one that's actually beat up since he took the brunt of the force just to get Helios out of there.
"He didn't deserve anything that was said to him. He had every right to oppose us," Jamal acknowledged of Alex's demeanor. He sighed and shook his head that things were really starting to turn dicey. Everything started turning against them, and now they could definitely confirm that the masked person who committed all of these crimes can now side with them. It was a very bad day.
"It was my fault I got shot in the back. I didn't expect for them to work together with that heathen," Tec regretted, and understandably so.
"It's over with now." Jamal then glared at Damian, showing his unhappiness with how he carried himself on Earth. "Just...why? Why would you do that?"

"You know what else was your fault? Not letting us go into the Third Layer," Helios spat. "I just needed to hit him once. ONCE. Then you had to come in and ruin everything." He deactivated his Second Layer right there since there wasn't a threat anymore.
Damian was extremely pissed at Jamal costing them the win. Now he had the nerve to criticize when it was his fault they almost died. "You ask a lot of questions for someone who was threatening to do what I was about to do to him, that was until you showed up," Damian suggested. "I think you're perfectly capable of coming to an answer for that, especially since you were crushing his Bakugan for the same reasons. You were fully aware of how much time we didn't have before that coward showed up again to kill even more people, so it would lead me to believe that anyone who consciously shields his whereabouts is also a candidate for destruction just as the perpetrator is."
Damian also scoffed at Jamal's coldness towards the situation, as if he wouldn't do the same if they were about to get blown up from who knows where, and the contact they make with someone who does know refuses to lend information even though the said organization has been guilty of besieging numerous individuals for as long as they have been around. "But all of that is meaningless now, isn't it? You made us lose, so there goes your only chance of getting at the masked man now. Thanks a lot, pal."

To see that Damian cared more about winning the battle and killing his opponent rather than his "best" friend preventing him from furthering his act of war when the Silver Knights weren't the problem was hurtful, but to be expected from him. Expecting that was the major problem Jamal couldn't overcome right now.
"You know what would have been much easier than fighting them? Not fighting them," Jamal responded.
"We had no business being down there in the first place other than to ask and leave. They've already been dealing with the Master Blaze's assailants. Do you really think they wouldn't be on edge seeing you come right to them and acting like that?" Tec questioned.
"I don't think you realize how dumb that fight was. You may as well throw away all of the possible assumptions we made thinking that the humans had anything to do with his deployment. They have more than enough reasons to side with him now. But no, I'm the jackass who contributed to Vestal's nightmare by not allowing you to kill them after you already attacked. Go ahead and pin the blame on me instead of evaluating your own actions."

"We piss a lot of people off. They could've easily ignored us if we didn't get their attention," Helios said in defense to Damian.
"It looks like you weren't there to see what they did to Neri when her and her sister were there way before I arrived," Damian mentioned. "But that's besides the point. You tell me what other organization deals with people like the masked man very frequently. Oh wait, you can't do that because there's no other group in the United States that specializes in that area. I know you know that, Jamal, so you had no reason to act like such a pussy in killing that Silver Knight when you could and should've killed him with G-Factor."
Damian sighed and swatted that conversation away. He didn't even want to have it either. "That's the problem. You're way too nice, and it prevents you from doing what should've been done."

The last comment struck Jamal more than the other ones did. He's way too nice, eh? "Yeah, I guess so, huh? Like I am towards you all the time?" he inquired.
Jamal was basically done with Damian right then and there. He boarded Tec as he got ready to head on out. Whatever happened from there was going to happen by their own individual talents if he didn't get himself together. "It'll be a miracle if you're accepted back into the Palace after storming out on her. I can't say I'll be able to work my magic on her this time. She has had enough, and, quite frankly, so have I. I can't continue to act like being a close friend of yours is a full-time job. I have one that's taking a lot out of me as it is; I don't need this. It'll be better for all of us involved if you were to hang out at home for a while, maybe to come to terms with what's wrong and to confront those who have hurt you without resorting to our power to solve the problems."
For once in his entire life, Jamal turned his back on Damian, leaving him behind without offering any amnesty. It wasn't that simple anymore. "Despite all that...we're still friends, brother. I know you're still alive in there somewhere. I'll come back for you when I see him." Tec jetted off back to Alpha City to report back to the Palace with Jamal on board.
