Allen was almost as shocked as Montai to hear what they just heard. Jenna was concerned as well despite not knowing about who Andrew was.
"You're healing from the rocket. No problems with that. The problem is that your body is using a lot more of its resources to do so," the doctor concluded. "The way your body is reacting to your injury will likely overtax what your body naturally has to put into it. So, at some point, everything's going to shut down."
"Do you know why this is happening? Was there anything aside from explosive damage that the rocket caused?" Montai wondered.
"We haven't noticed anything unusual from the injury. We've checked multiple times," the doctor assured her.
"I think I know why," Allen spoke up. "I'm definitely no expert on this, but this sounds like it has something to do with why Nero has powers."
"Allen! That's classified!" Montai complained.
"But necessary to know. That could explain what we're seeing here," the doctor believed. "What radioactive spider bit him?"
"...It was an ability card used on him that forced his body to evolve."
"DING DING DING! That's what's happening. The forced evolution boosted his power level, but at a price. His body hasn't naturally progressed to that superhuman state he's in. Because of that, his body has to work harder to perform everyday functions," the doctor explained.
"So it's like he has an Advanced Fusion Ability active all the time, except his body can't handle it, and there's nothing he can do to shut it off," Allen rationalized to make it easier to understand.
"...How did we not know that...?"

"So...how long do I have?" Andrew wondered.
"A couple of days at this rate," the doctor shrugged.
"..." Montai was getting ready to cry. She was shaking uncontrollably too.
"Let's say that we find a way to get my body where it needs to be to withstand the power I have. Will that keep me alive?"
"That's mathematically impossible to do...except we have a lot of strange things going on, so it wouldn't surprise me if you did find a way. You should be alright with a lot of rest if that were to happen. I'm not too sure how this affects your overall lifespan though," the doctor answered.
"Alright. I have a few ideas on how to survive this, but first, let's see if Serena knows anything about how to get rid of this problem."

After a brief conversation...
"There's nothing I can do to get rid of your problem permanently," Serena regretted. "Your forbidden power has been there for too long. Wolfurio has a temporary solution in that he can seal off this power. You'd be unable to use it, but you won't die."
"Is there a scenario where I survive this AND keep my powers?" Andrew wondered.
"...Considering the dire circumstances, you have two options. You surrender your human body in favor of one Markus can create for you, or... Hm..."
"Or...?"
"...I'd have to call Barodius or Kianna for the last option."
"Whatever it is, I want it."
"...We'll see if you're still saying that in a bit."

The Emperor - still in his human form of course - walked inside of the hospital room where he saw a bunch of people who didn't need to hear what he had to say. Without giving at least five seconds for everyone to acknowledge that he was there:
"Doctors, Allen, and...ma'am, can we have the room to ourselves please?" the Emperor immediately requested. "It's not that I don't want you to hear us, but... What we're talking about are sensitive topics that I can't let you know about just yet. If there are any cameras or devices that will record what we're saying, shut it down. Simply knowing this information without my permission can get you in serious trouble, so... just trying to protect you."
"Of course..." the doctor understood. Everyone walked out aside from Montai, Serena, and Andrew for obvious reasons. The Emperor released a minor electric current from his body without any visual cues of him doing so. In the event that they were going to either wiretap or record him anyway, this would shut down the equipment.
"Emperor," Serena greeted by offering a hug.
"Your Highness," the Emperor returned. He didn't want to, but he reluctantly gave her the hug. "So, I'm hearing things correctly? Special Agent Bullock is knocking on death's door, and he's looking for a permanent solution to his problem?"
"That's right," Serena confirmed.
"...I will help if our deal still stands," the Emperor proposed to Montai.
"It does," Montai agreed.
"Alright. Hold still." The Emperor charged his palm with bio-electricity and pressed it on Andrew's chest. The procedure was noticeably startling for Andrew. "I'm preventing you from using that power until further notice. This way, we're not pressed for time," he confirmed. "Now, I have two questions. Why do you want to keep your power, and will it be a bad situation if you were permanently deprived of it?"

"Ow..." Andrew groaned. He had the feeling of total paralysis, and he was extremely numb for a few seconds. He took a long deep breath once he regained the feeling of his everything, finally having life come back to him.
"I'm the leader of a task force that's aiming to bring people like Mother Bowen down. A lot of my activity is covert. I'd be caught dead without my power," Andrew rationalized. "It's looking like the Silver Knights and Eden may be in our way with this. I need every asset I can have against them. If the Resistors were actual employees of the feds, then I'd be willing to think differently, but I can't rely on their power for me to do my job. I look at the worst of the worst every day. I can still fight without my power, but that's a risk I'm not willing to take especially when the Resistors are a step above me in power right now, and Drago - who is arguably the strongest Bakugan we have - had to tread lightly against a human-sized foe."
"Despite me not wanting to at first, I learned to accept what I've been given and use it for the greater good of not just this country, but the entire planet. Vince would want me to do that, but...with the Tribunal active, it makes no sense to just part ways with what I've learned to control."

"I agree," the Emperor replied. "I just wanted to see what situation this puts you in and how you felt about it. What you said makes me very excited to help you. Both Father Lyles and Mother Bowen have powerful bodies in addition to their formidable power. You only have formidable power. This is just a guess, but...maybe we can figure out how they acquired their power through you."
"...That...is actually a good idea..." Serena believed.
"That's just the military side of me talking. My first choice was to introduce you to a certain technique created by the Seventh Emperor of Gundalia, but if we play our cards right, that won't be necessary. It would make sense to think that your body could eventually adjust to your power if you introduce the said power in percentages that are safe," the Emperor proposed. "Contestir could cancel out enough of your energy so that you can practice with it and work your way up. Your body is already exceptionally strong from your work background, so it should be no problem for you to do this. It will be difficult though..."

"...That could help with our investigation..." Montai figured. She took a good look at Andrew to see if he was on board with the idea or not. "What do you think?"
"Sounds like fun," Andrew shrugged.
"Good. I'll train you then," Serena volunteered. "I'm curious about this forbidden power. It would certainly help me better understand it."
"Okay...it's going to work out," Montai told herself. "So, first thing's first. Let's do something about your friend, Emperor. How soon do you want that done?"

"It can wait," the Emperor claimed. "We've all been through a lot. I suggest we regroup and get ourselves together. I've seen all I need to see to take care of them if they attack Gundalia again."
"Are you sure?" Montai asked.
"Yeah. We'll be fine. Really," he promised. "Besides, Dharak and I need some rest. After using our powers so frequently with that operation we did, we're not going to be able to maintain the illusion of myself on Gundalia much longer. I need to be there just in case things get ugly again."
"We should get going as well," Serena insisted for herself, Rafe, and Fabia. Well...not Fabia. "The doctors have already made progress, so we'll let them do their jobs. They seem harmless so far. We'll keep in contact."
"Sounds good," Montai accepted.

Jenna was standing outside of the hospital with Allen. Seeing as how they weren't really needed in the discussion that was happening, they just left. They were waiting around for Jenna's 'father' to finally get there so they could all go home.
"Um, question. So, I heard the name 'Barodius' in there... Was that guy that looked like Noland a Gundalian emperor?" Jenna wondered.

Allen looked around a bit before bothering to answer that question. Even now, Noland's status as a Gundalian draws a lot of racist behavior, so he didn't want anyone to know that an emperor was in the building.
"Yeah, but let's not talk about it around here," Allen whispered to her while slightly leaning towards her. He went back to his normal tone of voice and position afterwards. "I'd love to tell you all about who we know, but - aside from the Spartans - I can't tell you about why I know the CIA Director...even though it's very obvious."

"Oh yeah. I understand. Sorry for saying that so loud," Jenna apologized. "I think that's really cool though..."
"So, from what my dad was saying, the BBBA was looking to do a Pro Showcase where the best amateurs and semi-pros can challenge the pros to exhibition matches," Jenna was saying. "It really had me thinking about what I've heard all last season about how you and the Resistors wouldn't come back. I don't mean to pry, but...ever since I met you guys face-to-face, I couldn't help not being curious. You're all amazing... You're all practically guaranteed to succeed."

"With the way the competition was last year, yes, but that's why we couldn't battle," Allen began to explain. "Noland, Alana, and I are seniors in high school, and we've already beaten two armies, died and came back to life, saw God, been to alien planets, saw God again, and so on and so forth. We also happen to be strong too, so the media is just looking for us to do something else so they can follow us everywhere."
"I don't know if you saw what Noland did to Maurice when they battled, but that's what will happen. We can't even hit someone without being scared that we'll kill them. It took the fun out of battling. There's no adrenaline rush anymore."
"Tank, Markus, and Tracy have complained about the same things. The only issue for them is that two of them are paid to fight while one is a D1 brawler on scholarship, so they have no choice. Us? We can get wherever we want from our strength alone. We don't have to knock anyone out, so...that's where we're at."

"Ah...that makes a lot of sense..." Jenna understood. "You know what...? Speaking of Maurice..."
Jenna had a flashback to when Jenna first started battling and why she lured the Resistors to her in the first place. A couple of days before that battle took place, she was being escorted through the Sports and Learning Complex by her coach so that she could get hyped up. Jenna was immediately put against Maurice, the two-time national champion. The result was an evolved Sprayzer getting karate chopped by Geos. The poor thing was sent far into the Earth. It took a rescue team to get it out of there.
"Yeah...that battle wasn't very fun either, but I didn't have any expectations," Jenna guessed. "Maybe this showcase could be good to spice things up a little. I'd like to go just to see what I can learn. Would you like to come with me?"
"Uh...I mean, not that you have to come with me at all or that I'm asking for any particular reason..."

Allen was close to bursting into laughter and tears when he heard about what Jenna did to Maurice. He had to cover his mouth to prevent it from happening.
"You're wrong for that bro," Gorem criticized Allen for his lack of care towards the whole thing. "...That is pretty funny though..."
Allen was hit with another fastball when Jenna asked him to go to the showcase. He didn't quite hear what Jenna's excuses were. All he heard or understood was that she was wondering if the Resistors were taking any part in it. Before he could answer, he saw a familiar-looking man approach them.

Tinsley looked like he was on a leisurely stroll when he came up to them. He still had his share of bruises and whatnot on his body...which was weird, because he had regenerated from all of that when he went to tend to his animals in another place... Definitely not suspicious.
"Salutations, Mr. Silva," Tinsley greeted. "I apologize if I spooked you by showing up out of nowhere or by having all of these bruises on my face. I just got out of the hospital, and I'm not feeling too well from everything I got given. I had to make it here though..."
"More importantly...how are you feeling, Jenna?"
